....AND has great PASS rates!Review your state listed nursing programs before filling out any type of application for nursing school or pay any tuition. You may be applying to a fraudulent program! You may attend and even graduate....BUT, it will not entitle you to practice as a nurse /or take the national licensure exam needed to obtain your nursing license .
Use this manual to check on approved programs and equally important: What are the PASS RATES for the schools you are interested in? You need to know if the students who graduate are passing the national licensure exams. This information will influence where you will want to go to school. A school with only a 50% pass rate may hurt you in the long run. You may be able to get in and graduate BUT, they have not prepared you right, and the odds are iffy if you will pass the national licensure exam (NCLEX) which you need to get your license and a job.
Use this manual to get you on the right track, then follow up with the manual on ASKING the RIGHT QUESTIONS. You will need to know other things before deciding on a school. It may be possible that the school has a 100% pass rate as shown here BUT, one of the next questions is: What percentage of your students who start your program finish it? There is a school in my state that boasts a 100% pass rate. BUT, they only graduate 25% of their students who start. You do not want to be
