The objective of the program is to discuss with managers, executives, technicians, students and other people
interested in agroindustry and credit cooperatives the characteristics of these two branches in the international
context, the errors and correctness, and in what way such experiences can help the cooperatives in the reiteration
or adequacy of the strategic formatting.

In specific terms, it is expected that the professional/student after the program will be able to:
a) to better understand cooperativism in the agro-industrial and credit sectors, based on European experience;
b) critically evaluate what in the European experience can help the growth and development of cooperatives in
Brazil;

discussion of the possibility of opportunities and threats in the agribusiness and credit branches in Brazil, whether

Cologne Business School is one of the best private universities of applied science in Germany, with approximately
1,400 young people from about 75 nations are studying at Cologne, embedded in a large network of partnerships
with around 100 universities all over the world and numerous large companies.
The Center for Advanced Sustainable Management (CASM) fosters research and teaching at Cologne Business
School in the area of Corporate Social Responsibility and Sustainable Management; bringing together scholars from

Established in August 2016 the CASM founded international academic partnerships with the Sino-German Center

PERSPECTIVACTION
UANÁ is an executive volunteering
program that aims to promote
sustainable development through the
participation and engagement of
students, alumni and teachers.
Through the program, the volunteers put
into practice the knowledge acquired in
the classroom and during their
professional career.
UANÁ of the indigenous language Tupi
Guarani, means firefly. And as such it,
this is the premise of UANÁ, to illuminate
the path of organizations that need
support in management through the
exchange and transfer of knowledge.
HOW IT
WORKS
The student work in groups for 2 weeks in a voluntary management consulting job supporting
startups and microentrepreneurs, developing an action plan or strategy for problem solving and
business improvement.
Before the beginning of the activities the students receive online training regarding consulting
techniques and entrepreneurship in Brazil. Previously they are placed in groups where they come
to know a little more of the companies that will act.
