A Family Perspec
From the Family Life Educaon Office~

The apostles were afraid of Jesus until he ate with them and they touched him. In your family, the ordinary acts of eating together, touching, embracing not only confirm our love for each other, but also celebrate God’s presence in your family. These “ordinary” moments contain the “Extraordinary.”

Shoe Drive Fundraiser
Over the Rainbow Daycare Center is hosting a
shoe drive fundraiser. We are collecting gently
worn, used and new shoes. We will be
collecting shoes from kid’s sizes through
adults. We will take sneakers, sandals, dress
shoes and even boots! So as you start your
spring cleaning, please consider donating your
old shoes to help our school. Please share the
word with family and friends that may have
shoes lying around that they are willing to
donate. Drop off locations includes: Daycare
Center as well as all three parishes.
Also, we are in the process of creating
collection boxes for the shoes, if you are able to
place a collection box at your place of work,
please let us know and we can get you one.

Year of the Family
As we journey through the jubilant and hope-
filled season of Easter, Bishop Cunningham
offers four practical, powerful, and effective
ways to form a domestic church within our own
families: prayer and worship, formation,
community, and service. To learn more, we
invite you to visit syracusediocese.org and click
on YEAR OF THE FAMILY.
May the Holy Family of
Jesus, Mary, and Joseph be
your patrons during this
special year and together
in our parish communities,
may we come to know our
true vocation.
