Sterling Silver Studio, LLC Win Big! Each year we hold a contest for students and their families. The goal is to sell the most business and personal ads for the Spring Re-cital Program. Without your help, we would not be able to put together our awesome, 30+ page yearbook with all group photos and program for both shows. Forms for the ads will be available at the front desk and prizes are listed on page 5 of this news-letter as well as posted at the stu-dio.

Anyone is welcome to audition for the Performing Arts Company teams. These teams consist of dancers and twirlers who work hard and are dedicated to their teams. These teams to travel throughout Wisconsin and Min-nesota. They usually compete in 4 to 5 local and out of town com-petitions.

Auditions

Auditions are based on experi-ence, knowledge and execution of technique, how quickly you learn routines, etc. Auditions will be held on two days (both days are required) Tue, Aug 11 & Wed, Aug 12. There will be dif-ferent auditions for different styles.

Dance and Twirling Levels

The level camps for dance and twirling are only offered during the summer months.

There are two camps available: June 22-25 and Aug 3-6. This is the performer’s opportunity to advance and learn new skills before starting the recital sea-son.

Ask your child’s instructor or desk staff if you would like more information.

Performing Arts Company (PAC) classes are FUN! Tuition is not higher than recreational classes. PAC classes help you advance faster and give you more performance opportunities!

All of our students that are registered for our youth program for the season and perform at our Annual Spring Recital are recognized for their hard work and dedication. First and second year students will be recognized at recital and all 3+ year members and students with perfect attendance will have their name in the program and receive an award. We will be holding all regu-larly scheduled classes on Monday, May 25. We want

to allow for as much re-hearsal time as possible

Picture order forms are now available at the studio. You will need one form per costume or shoe change that you will be ordering. You will list the song name on the order form to ensure you have the correct class. Have your order forms filled out and money in the envelopes before you have your picture

taken. This will ensure a smooth and easy picture day.

If you are purchasing more that one package you may write one check & place it in the first picture envelope of the day. You must then write on the re-maining envelopes: 1. the check number 2. what “song” envelope the check is in. If this is not done you may not receive your pictures in a timely manner.

All group & individual pictures will be taken at Sterling Silver Studio. Regular classes will not be meeting on Monday, May 4 due to pictures.

Name List for the Back of the Recital Shirt This is the current list of performers & volunteers for both of the 2015 Spring Recital shows. This list is going to be going on the back of the recital t-shirts. Please check to make sure that your name is on this list and spelled correctly. If you need to add your name or change the spelling there is a list posted at the studio. PASS Foundation Ad Seller Prizes for the 2015 Spring Recital Program/Yearbook

Every student in our 2015 spring classes are welcome to participate in the Spring Recital Grand Finale.

Every year Sterling Silver Studio’s Spring Recital Grand Finale is always a fabulous production. The grand finale routine will feature the cast of the 2015 recital.

This year we will start teaching the Grand Finale routine in each of the recital classes. This way everyone will get a chance to learn and practice the routine before the first rehearsal on May 29.

There will be three group practices, you must attend all three practices in order to perform the routine success-fully at recital.

The 2015 “Work It!” recital t-shirt order form is now available. All of the perform-ers and volunteers will have their name listed on the back. The name list on page 4 of this newsletter. If you need to make changes or add your name please make the changes or add to the list on the Studio Boutique door. The shirt color is “safety green” and the logo is black, orange and silver. The t-shirt also doubles as the grand finale uniform. For grand finale you will wear the 2015 Spring Recital T-shirt & black bottoms (shorts, pants, Capri pants)

In order to perform in the Grand Finale you will need to purchase a 2015 spring recital t-shirt and wear black bottoms (shorts, pants, Capri pants). The t-shirt order form is on page 6 of this newsletter. Spring Recital Shows:

The Mini Show is for students in preschool and 5–8 classes

Jr/Sr Show is for students in ages 9-11, tween, teen and adult classes

PAC & Performance teams: You will re-ceive more show information from the studio.

If you are unsure what show, please talk to your instructor.

Grand Finale Rehearsals:

If you are performing in both the Mini & Jr/Sr shows you will attend both Mini & Jr/Sr re-hearsal times on all 3 days.
