We salute you! Come and join us as we welcome United States Marine Cpl. Jonathan Dowdell, along with his wife and daughter, to the Tuscan Lakes community on Thursday, April 14th. The Dowdell family will open the doors to a new, mortgage-free home by Harbour Classic Builders thanks to Operation Finally Home, a national non-profit organization that builds homes for America’s military heroes. The Dowdell dedication in Tuscan Lakes will be the organization’s 100th home given away. In celebration, the public is invited to attend a free lunch and dedication ceremony. Lunch will begin at 11:30am at Watershed Church in Tuscan Lakes. A trolley will shuttle guests to the nearby home where the dedication ceremony will begin at 2:00pm. Following the ceremony, the home will be open for touring. Local dignitaries, press and public will be in attendance, so we encourage residents to come out and welcome to the Dowdell family to Tuscan Lakes!

Community Garage Sale & Shred It Day
Clean out your garage or that closet you have been putting off all winter! Join neighbors in the Tuscan Lakes Community Garage Sale on Saturday, April 16th from 8:00am to 12:00pm. All garage sales will take place at your homes, but be sure to get on the
Tuscan Lakes Community Garage Sale Map, so the bargain hunters can find you and your treasures! Then, head over to the Cypress Point Recreation Center anytime from 12:00pm-
2:00pm to take advantage of the mobile on-site secure shredding truck. A donation truck will also be on-site from 12:00pm-1:00pm if you choose to donate any unsold items.
Be a part of the garage sale by emailing your address and a description of your items to [email protected]. The deadline to be listed on the Community Garage Sale
Map is Wednesday, April 13th. Garage Sale Maps will be emailed to the community, available at the Tuscan Lakes Information Center and posted on tuscanlakes.com.

JOIN THE BUNCO CLUB IN TUSCAN LAKES!
Tuscan Lakes residents have started a Bunco group and would love for YOU to join. This is a great
opportunity to get to know your neighbors, make new friends and socialize. There will be lots of laughs and
fun for all!
Each person should bring $5.00 for the “Pot”. The pot will be divided 3 ways at the end of the night for
“Most Bunco’s,” “Most Wins” and “Most Losses!”There will be appetizers, desserts, drinks and wine! Feel free to bring a snack, sweet or drink of choice!

application to be reviewed by the Architectural Review Committee. Examples of additions include in-ground pools, surveillance cameras, playscapes, basketball

Welcome Solomon Delaney, Lifestyle Manager for Tuscan Lakes
Being raised in Southeast Texas, I gained an appreciation for the sense of community through church and neighborhood involvement. As a proud Lumberjack of Stephen F. Austin State University, this sentiment grew as I was now not only a part of a community, but was also actively involved in building one.
My area of focus was Business Administration in Management. Being highly involved, I held many leadership roles within organizations and departments where my focus was on bringing students together through event planning. This is where I gained my passion for the industry and a love for meeting the needs of those around me. Whether it was the student body or the Nacogdoches community I was there and ready to make a difference.
Through these experiences I developed the skills needed to build and maintain a community and that’s what I look forward to doing here at Tuscan Lakes.
During my spare time I enjoy working out. Whether it’s hitting the weights or going for a run it’s something that keeps me going. I also enjoy music. I’m not the best singer, but I can hold a note and can play the trumpet, clarinet, flute, drums, and a little of the piano. When I have time I take advantage of traveling while embarking upon restaurants I can’t find at home.
I am excited to meet everyone and to start producing high quality events in this great community!

Tuscan Lakes Eggstravaganza
Many residents and families came out as we celebrated
our Easter Weekend with our Eggstravaganza Event. There
were over 2,000 Easter Eggs filled with stickers and candy
for kids who participated in our Easter Egg Hunt. We also
had wonderful activities and crafts for everyone.
