The story of HCG began in the Fifties when, after having done research on weight loss for 40 years and research on HCG specifically for twenty years, Dr. Simeons reported that patients taking small amounts of HCG, in conjunction

with a very low calorie diet, could lose weight

safely and quickly without exercise, muscle loss or hunger.

But all HCG is not created equal. The SuperVision Weight Loss program starts with pharmaceutical HCG.

Unfortunately, there has been a lot of confusion created by products being sold without guidance that call themselves “HCG” but do not contain any in their ingredient list. HCG is one of 67 hormones naturally produced in the human body, so if a product states that it is hormone free, it's not HCG.

HCG does not produce weight loss by itself. However, in concert with a very specific balanced diet, and our help in avoiding unexpected environmental or behavioral deviations, HCG will allow the body to naturally pull the nutrients and calories needed from stored fat reserves into the blood stream at the rate of 1500 to 4000 calories per day.

We are sure that those who follow our protocol WILL lose 20-30 pounds in 40 days. These fantastic results ARE typical with our full service packages. SuperVision Weight Loss program is not your run of the mill “eat less and exercise more” diet for a slow loss of 1 to 2 pounds a week that seems to take the rest of your life. Our protocol tricks Mother Nature a little, maybe, however only natural processes are at work. Per Dr. Simeons, it is safe and so very effective.

Cindy's StoryFor years, I've had trouble losing the excess weight that I put on. I've tried several plans and fad diets, only to put the weight back on. I came to Super Vision Weight Loss when my doctor told me that I was pre-diabetic. I found the program easy to follow. i was glad to have the support of the staff through the entire transition. I am so happy with my results and my new lease on life.

Gary's Story My doctor was on my case about my blood pressure, and I know that the extra weight I was carrying wasn’t helping that situation. My knees hurt and I just wanted to feel better. I gave Super Vision Weight Loss a chance to help me get the weight off. They were really great!! I lost 38 lbs. in 31 days! My girlfriend is thrilled. I travel for a living and I was able to stay true to the diet protocol even on the road. I’m so glad I did this diet with Super Vision Weight Loss. I feel YEARS younger and I know I’ll never have that belly again.

To get slim and stay that way, call our office at (317) 849-THIN today. We will help you reach your weight loss goals and improve your health, appearance and self-image.

Nothing tastes as good as THIN feels…

Using the MonaLisa Touch laser, Gynecologist Dr. Michelle Jones Singer

is helping women find relief from vaginal dryness, itching, burning and

painful intercourse. Here’s how she can help you, too.

Since introducing the MonaLisa Touch laser to the Indianapolis area three months ago, Dr. Michelle Jones Singer has treated about 30 patients seeking relief from vaginal dryness, itching, burning and painful intercourse.

“This restorative, minimally invasive CO2 laser therapy, which was FDA- cleared last September, has produced far better than hoped for results in 95 percent of my patients treated,” she reports.

MonaLisa Touch means real relief for patients dealing with painful intercourse, vaginal dryness and menopausal issues who don’t want to take hormones.

Fifty something C.C. of Fishers says “Even after the first treatment my husband and I were able to have enjoyable sexual relations which has not happened in years. There was no pain

and lots of moisture. I no longer look for ways to avoid being with my husband. It was well worth it!”

Fifty something K.M. of Noblesville with a history of stress and urge urinary incontinence says “I have much less loss of urine with coughing or sneezing. I am not getting up all night long to go to the bathroom.”

MonaLisa Touch Laser is an office procedure that works painlessly, takes about three to five minutes to activate vaginal tissues to produce collagen. There is no anesthesia and no downtime. Three treatments are necessary to restore vaginal health. Although insurance does not cover this procedure, Dr. Jones Singer notes that the cost of $900 per treatment for 3 treatments is similar over time to the other treatments such as creams and hormone therapy.Call 317-578-0421

Leaky gut is the most overlooked health condition in the world today. According to Hippocrates, the father of modern medicine, “All disease begins in the gut”. Not 50%, but 100% of all health issues really begin in the gut!

Your intestinal lining is like a tight mesh that keeps undigested food and toxins out of the bloodstream while letting in the nutrients that nourish and rebuild the body. Leaky gut happens when there are larger openings in the lining that allow certain undigested proteins like gluten, casein, or parasites and unfriendly bacteria to leak into the bloodstream, recirculate and cause systemic inflammation throughout your body.

When you begin to heal and repair your lining, you begin to heal your entire body.

10 Warning Signs You Have a Leaky Gut

I set the alarm for 12:30 AM. I knew I wouldn’t actually sleep. Just mostly trying to rest, anticipate and be open to the mission I was a part of that cold November night. I knew to be sure to bring a jacket, as the windows would be down a lot.

They call it “the game”. The game of pimps owning girls, pimps competing with one another to steal their girls, pimps patrolling the streets to make sure the girls didn’t talk to the competition. If the girls talk to the competition, it can be dangerous. She can be abused, cut, made to pay in a number of ways.

It was now nearing 1AM. I was in the car with Kyla, who does this every week. Connecting with the girls on the street. Showing them a way out. We saw a few young girls dressed like they had been out for the night. Out “clubbing”. Were they on their way home? They walked across the busy lanes of the well-lit retail area and into a residential neighborhood. We stopped at the light and we watched them disappear into the darkness.

“Look ahead…see all those cars going into that neighborhood? Do you see their taillights? Do you see how they are all turning left? Those are Johns”, Kyla told me.

We pulled across the street and took our place. It felt like we were in the drive-thru at McDonalds-waiting our turn. And when we made our left turn into the neighborhood we became a part of a mass of cars, all with one driver, some old, some young, all sharing the same common denominator of seeking sex for hire. It was a mid-month Friday night. Pay day when not so many bills were due. So extra money meant more dollars to spend on sex.

Sophia was the first girl I met. She was

maybe 15 with her pimps name tattooed on her neck. Sophia was standing by herself at the edge of the street, waiting for a car to pull over and invite her in. Dressed in a red mini skirt, a faux fur black vest with a black bra underneath, and spike black and silver high heels, she walked over to us when we rolled down the window. “Hi” we said," would you like a gift?” How about some hot chocolate? Pretty cold out there tonight isn’t it?” ‘Oh yes, thank you,’ said Sophia.

We had instant hot chocolate ready and handed it to her. “By the way,” Kyla said, “we know about the game. You’ll find a lip gloss with an 800 number on it in the little gift bag.” Sophia moved back to her spot on the street. Back to work.

There were 13 girls on the block that night. Some of the young girls were sure to have been trafficked. The young victims could have come from playgrounds, malls, online and as runaways. And some older girls who were probably taken years ago. Some were dressed scantily, others dressed in sweats. Some of them were Caucasian, some African American, some Hispanic…a mix of nationalities and mostly women. My experience that night could be played out in many cities and towns across the country.

There’s much to learn. There’s so much to know about this billiondollar industry. How can we get involved in eradication, how can we recognize the need for us to come together and create awareness. And how can we recognize the signs of trafficking in order to help.

Have you ever been asked, "Are you tired?" or "Are you angry?” when you feel rested and wonderful?

If this sounds familiar, you are not alone. Each year, more than 100,000 women and men choose eyelid surgery to improve their appearance. The procedure has become extremely popular because nothing ages a face more than the eyes. The genetic structure of your face combined with aging, sun exposure, or other factors can cause the skin around the eyes to sag or puff. Eyelids can begin to drape and develop a hooded appearance. Where there was once a clear crease in the eyelid, outlining the structure of the eye, a crepe-like section of skin may develop. Fat can accumulate under the eye causing bags and a tired appearance.

Innovative Technique To help my patients recover more quickly, I have developed my own proprietary surgical laser technique for both upper and lower eyelid surgery. This laser technique dramatically reduces bruising, swelling and recovery time. I have found this technique provides superior cosmetic results over conventional surgery.

The procedure involves the surgical removal of excess pads of fat and skin on the upper and/or lower eyelids that accumulates as a result of aging. For upper eyelids, a tiny incision is placed in the natural skin crease. The laser is utilized to remove excess skin and fat. The upper eyelid is sculpted to give an aesthetically pleasing, well-balanced look to the eye.

Once the fat is removed an abundance of fine wrinkles exist, laser exfoliation of the lower eyelids is utilized to stimulate the growth of new collagen in the lower eyelids and to shrink the residual skin. This simple procedure

can restore a youthful look to the entire face.

At your consultation, I offer all of my patients computer imaging to give the them a realistic impression of what can be achieved with a laser eyelid lift. The results can be a refreshed appearance, with a younger, firmer eye area. This treatment can remove creping, sagging, or excess skin above and below the eyes. Our patient satisfaction from this procedure is outstanding

RecoveryRecovery time for eyelid surgery varies depending upon the patient. In a simple upper eyelid lift with skin and only mild amounts of fat being addressed, the recovery is relatively quick. Quick means that you will feel well in a few days but you can expect some bruising and discoloration. The more skin and tissue that needs to be address, the recovery is a little longer. In almost all cases, patients recover in about one week or less.

Our center takes follow-up care extremely seriously. We will see you everyday after your procedure to ensure you are healing as expected. We help you through every step of the recovery process.

When someone is injured in an accident, whether it’s an auto, motorcycle, or bicycle accident, a slip and fall, or some other circumstance caused by another’s negligence, that person is in shock. It is difficult to think straight or ask the right questions. Without a doubt, it’s a time of confusion, pain and anger. Many times, a person is too injured to do anything at the time of their injury other than seek medical attention. But often, that is not the case. Knowing what to do beforehand can help you protect your claim. Here are some simple tips on what to do if you are injured:

Many grandparents are raising grandchildren. A recent report conducted by U.S. 2010, A Research Project on Changes in American Society founded by Brown University in the Russell Sage Foundation, corroborates a recent study by the Pugh Research Center that showed that 7.7 million U.S. children – 1 in 10 children – were living in the same household as one of their grandparents in 2011. In many cases that means living in the grandparents' home. In 1997, the Census reported that of the grandparents who maintain homes for their grandchildren, 55% of grandmothers and 47% of grandfathers are not yet age 55. In addition, 19% of the grandmothers and 15% of the grandfathers were under the age of 45.

During the last few years, in my law practice, I have noticed more and more grandparents calling me to establish guardianships of their grandchildren. A guardianship must be established according to the procedure in the Indiana Code. A “Guardian” is a fiduciary appointed by the court to be a guardian who is responsible as the court may direct for the person or the property of an incapacitated person or a minor. A “Minor” is any person who is less than 18 years of age and who is not emancipated as a minor. By its very nature, a guardianship is temporary.

A guardianship is usually established because a Parent does not have the financial resources to take care of the Child or is under a certain life stress such as an addiction. The Parent requests the Grandparent to establish a guardianship. As the Parent matures, they become financially stable and then requests that the Grandparent terminate the guardianship.

By this time, the Grandparent may have developed a parental bond with the Child and does not want the guardianship to terminate.

Unfortunately when a Grandparent raises a grandchild, they often start to unintentionally feel that they are the parent and not the grandparent. Thus, when the Parent is in a position to terminate the guardianship, the Grandparent fights the termination. A court fight then ensues. This Court battle is stressful for everyone, including the Child. To begin the termination proceedings, the Parent must petition the court to terminate the guardianship. This court case causes the Parent and Grandparent to incur attorney fees and court time. Often, the contentious termination of the guardianship causes a breakdown of the parent-grandparent relationship. This breakdown has a negative impact on the Child as well.

There are times that I have suggested to a grandparent that they adopt the grandchild either before or after the establishment of the guardianship. An adoption is not temporary. If, at that time, the parent is in dire financial straits or under an addiction, and the grandparent requests the parent consent to the adoption, the parent may consent. If, however, the parent recovers from the addiction or their financial picture improves, the chances of a parent consenting to the adoption decrease. Indeed, the Court, at that time, is less inclined to continue the guardianship. If you are a grandparent raising a grandchild and you want to make the relationship permanent, the only way to make it permanent is by adoption.

Grandparent Guardianships by Tamie Jo Morog

My grandmother had a saying that has altered the way I think. She repeated it frequently and ended all of her letters with it: “Let nothing disturb the harmony of your thoughts.” This was a gentle reminder that we own our own thoughts and beliefs and we can choose how they impact us. We are hearing a lot about how changing your thinking, changes your life.

Women are notorious for taking on the feelings of others. Your feelings, beliefs, and thoughts belong to you. No one else has the capacity to change them unless you allow that. Many women have come into my office and said, “He made me feel so small or worthless.” The truth of the matter is that no one can make you feel. You decide how something affects you. Although you are human and people’s reactions have a certain impact you get to choose how it affects you. You then get to decide whether you believe them and internalize it. You own the choice, not them.

Consider the following example:

I frequently work with mothers with children who don’t keep their room clean. As a result, the mother feels the child is being disrespectful by not following the rules. I encourage the parent to readjust their thinking. The child does not intend to convey disrespect. Attaching this meaning to the action doesn’t help the situation. It keeps the situation emotionally charged. When the parent takes the interpretation out of the behavior, they are better able to redefine what the consequence should be.

I run groups that teach clients to revisit their beliefs and reconstruct them in a gentle way. Working in groups can be helpful because the energy of a group can provide wonderful support.

To exemplify:

I worked with a woman whose husband was an alcoholic. When he drank, he would frequently neglect his family. She “chose”

to believe he didn’t love them. This kept her feeling unloved, unworthy, and in a one-down position. It reinforced her low self-esteem. When I worked with her husband, it was clear that he did love his family. However, his disease (alcoholism) took precedence over everything, including his family. This woman needed to use what I call the three Rs:

• Readjustherthinkingandnotgivehim the power to affect her self-esteem.

• Redefinehisbehaviorashisissue (e.g. he wasn’t neglectful because he didn’t love them, he was neglectful because he suffered from alcoholism).

• Realignherownpowerbydetermining her limits and boundaries.

I encouraged her to go to Al-Anon, a support group that teaches and empowers people how to cope with alcoholism and this improved her self-esteem. Altering your thinking is life-changing. It empowers and feeds your self-esteem. It won’t happen on your own. You need to retrain how you think. Find people (support), places (groups like Al-Anon), and things (books) to assist you in making those needed changes. A great book to teach you how to take the emotional charge out of situations is Loving What Is by Byron Katie. Ms. Katie writes from personal experience and the book models going to one of her workshops.

Your feelings, beliefs, and thoughts really do belong to you and only you have the power to use them in a way that is healthy for your self-esteem. So, the next time you are stressed, just remember, “let nothing disturb the harmony of your thoughts.” You can produce your own serenity!
