FINAL FOUR FUN COMING SOON
The Human Resources Connection will make its debut in just a few
weeks.
What is the HR Connection, you ask? It is the new Human Resources
website that has been tuned-up and given a facelift for you!
This will be your one-stop-shop for all things HR that you can
access from anywhere. And when we say anywhere, we mean anywhere:
in the office, at home and on the go from your mobile devices. All
you need to access this new space is a city of Phoenix email
address.
Over the next few weeks you will begin to hear more about these
changes and how to access the new site. Be on the lookout for more
updates.

DID YOU KNOW ?
Each week, learn three things you may not have known. These are
perfect conversation starters with friends and family or to share
on your social media accounts.
Louie Anderson was originally cast as Balki's cousin on Perfect
Strangers. After the unaired pilot, Mark Linn-Baker took over the
role.
After OutKast sang "Shake it like a Polaroid picture," Polaroid
released this statement: "Shaking or waving can actually damage the
image.
About one in every 4 million lobsters is born with a rare genetic
defect that turns it blue.”

who can recycle the most. Last week’s Elite Eight competition was
fierce, but there are now just four teams remaining. Here’s our own
Final Four matchups:

diversion rate

diversion rate
Human Services, 18th Floor: 91-percent diversion rate
Environmental Programs, Budget & Research, Public Defender,
Homeland Security, Energy Ops., 14th Floor: 92-percent diversion
rate
Make sure to get your recycling and trash to the
designated Recycle Madness bins on your floor before
1 p.m. on Friday for weighing. Also, visit the Zero
Waste and Green Team members on Fridays, 11 a.m.-
to 1 p.m. on the first floor for information regarding
the competition, games and cool prizes.
