What a wonderful spring God has given us; flowers are in bloom,

Congratulations to Robert, Lisa, Austin and Jaden Poch, James

I want to t hank all who have contributed to the beautiful r

P.S. Please pray for me as I will undergo surgery on Monday,
April 9th for prostatecancer at Northwestern Hospital. I will
return to the rectory on April 11th and beginrecovery there for the

Dear St. Dennis Parishioners,We have had the blessing of
celebrating Vacation Bible
School for the past four summers. Weve had many
wonderfulmemories swinging in the rain forest, exploring the
canyons,building churches in Africa under the Baobab tree, and
finallychilling out at the beach, DUDE! Normally, at this time
you
would be hearing about the 2012 Summer VBS. However,
thisupcoming summer, several of us will be involved inthe extensive
training for the Catechesis of the Good Shepherdto support its
growth as a program in our St. Dennis commu-nity. In addition,
Christen, myself, and other members of theparish staff will also be
immersed in making revisions toour current Generations of Faith
program as we conclude ourfirst six years of GOF and look forward
to many more years offamily faith formation. Development of these
two areas willinvolve much prayer, dedication, and time and will
therefore,be our focus this upcoming summer.
We are looking forward to being with our parish children
andsharing God's Word in future summers. Once again, we areblessed
to have such a vibrant community to share God's lovein and from
which we can extend Christ's Good News to oth-ers. Thank you for
all you do to make St. Dennis the wonderfulfaith community it is!

mustbe registered active members of St. Dennis. Baptismal PrepMtgs.
are divided into two meetings, 4 weeks apart on Satur-days, 9-10:30
am. Parents and Godparents are required toattend both classes
before a date is set. For more info. anddates, call the Parish
Office at 815-838-2592, ext. 123. Atleast one Godparent must be a
confirmed Catholic, active intheir faitha letter of permission is
required from their church.

Clothes for Haiti MinistryOur next meeting will beMon, April
23rd, 6-8:45pm in Fracaro Hall. We will be makingburial
palls/clothes for children of Haiti. To date, we havemade over
26,000 burial cloths, but 80 to 100 people are stilldying daily.
Donations needed: mens t-shirts, gently used/new pillowcases,
sheets, material, fabric glue, bias tape,Velcro, religious cards
& elastic. Please bring donations to theNarthex Care Pantry
