Traditional. cooling. systems. relied. on. 6°C. water,. however. with.ASHRE’s. new. guidelines. and. improvements. in. server. technology.water. temperatures.of.up.to.27°C.may.now.be.sufficient. to.keep.your.data.centre/computer.room.cool..This.raises.the.percentage.of.the.year.where.free.cooling.technology.can.be.used.or.even.removes.the.need.for.refrigeration.completely.

The.cooling.Management.Control.allows.components.that.operate.individually. or. as. a. system. to. maintain. the. room. at. the. correct.temperature,.even.with.external.heat.loads,.and.eliminates.the.risk.of.condensation.

LPS – The AdvantagesOur.CDU.LPS.units.are.designed.to.change.a.positive.pressure.chilled.water.source.from.a.chiller.or.other.cooling.products,.into.a.negative.gauge.pressure.or.one.that.is.lower.than.atmospheric..

Historically. if. a. pipe. was. fractured. or. a. fitting. was. leaking,. the.circulating.fluid.would.be.forced.out.of.the.circuit,.spraying.water.over.the.floor.or.even.worse.the.equipment..This.could.lead.to.flooding.if.the.situation.was.unnoticed.or.damage.of.hardware.or.loss.of.data..In.addition,.dew.point.control.prevents.any.condensation.forming.on.the.back.of.the.heat.exchanger,.even.in.the.height.of.summer.

With.the.development.of.the.leak.detection.system,.the.user.can.now.be.notified.if.a.leak.was.to.occur,.yet.the.system.would.run.impeded

until.such.time.a.scheduled.shut.down.could.be.made..This.eliminates.the.need.for.costly.down.time,.leak.detection.tape.and.even.the.need.for.a.raised.floor.as.the.pipe.work.can.be.happily.run.overhead.

The.CDU.LPS.circulates.fluid.at.a.pressure.lower.than.atmospheric..If.any.joint.or.part.of.the.secondary.circuit.was.to.fail,.which.would.normally. cause. a. leak,. air. is. drawn. into. the. circuit. which. is. then.carried.within.the.fluid..The.fluid.is.carried.to.the.air.separator.where.the.air.is.vented.out.of.the.system.so.that.the.cooling.fluid.is.then.re-circulated.without.air.entrapment..

The.benefit.of.this.type.of.system.means.that.the.fluid.will.continue.to.circulate,.even.if.there.is.a.leak.within.the.system.
