Welcome

• What is AquaLock? The Solution For Plumbing Leaks

AquaLock a company that invented the system that will end water damage due to leaking water pipes.

Money savings for the homeowners and the insurance companies in the billions.

No need for constant worry and fear of a water leak for property owners and insurers.

How! It’s simple if we detect a leak or unrequested water flow our device will shut down the water supply into the home or business. No water damage can occur to the premise.

Other systems are not whole house, they just alert you water is accumulating on the floor. Way too late to stop damage.

The Why

• Water causes $9.1 billion in annual homeowner policy property losses, approximately 23 percent of all homeowner property losses. But up to 93 percent, or almost $8.5 billion, of the cost of water damage could have been prevented or minimized if an automatic water leak detection and shut-off system had been present in the homes, according to an ACE Private Risk Services study of damage sustained by homeowners.

• An automatic water leak detection and shut-off system could prevent or greatly reduce water damage caused by leaking pipes, plumbing fixtures, hot water heaters, appliances and heating and cooling systems.

• ACE estimates the average cost of repairs for water damage could exceed $20,000, compared to only $6,000 for damage related to roof leaks and other causes of loss that the system would not have prevented.

• The study found that implementing the system can also help homeowners conserve water.

Insurance Facts

• Here are some startling facts:• Property damage resulting from water damage due to plumbing failures and freezing pipes is the second most

common cause of homeowner loss.• “Water damage claims have been growing faster than other components of homeowners insurance.” —

American Insurance Association• In the U.S., water damage is the second most frequently filed insurance claim and has accounted for more

than $5 billion of reported* claims each year.• *These figures do not include homeowner deductibles or unreported losses.

• In an average residence, 22 gallons of water are lost to leakage each day, and the most common culprits are leaking toilets or dripping faucets. This daily leakage volume is about equal to the amount of drinking water a family of 3 needs for 2 full weeks!

• Water-damage claims, most from leaky or burst pipes, are the primary cause of rising property-insurance costs. According to the North County Times story, in California, water damage represented 32% of all claims

• Leaks can be slow and gradual, taking years to detect until significant property damage occurs, or there can be large leaks that quickly produce a variety of damaging results.

• High humidity conditions that exist after a water loss create the perfect environment for mold growth. Costing insurance companies billions for mold removal replacement construction.

Insurance Companies and Water Leaks

• Insurance companies are already offering to help with the purchase and installation of water leak prevention systems. Here are participating companies: Fireman’s Fund Insurance, ACE Private Risk Services, Chubb Group, Pure Insurance, AIG, Crestbrook. Qualifying clients will receive substantial discounts on the cost of a water leak prevention , component accessories and installation. Clients are also eligible for discounts on the cost of annual premiums once a water leak prevention is installed in their home. This premium discount varies by state and policy type, so clients should check with their local agent for complete details.

• Freezing pipes a Big Problem• Frigid winter weather conditions are often a cause of pipe breaks and sprinkler head bursts which can create significant

water damage. There are several steps that can be taken to prevent such problems from occurring, and numerous other measures to be implemented immediately following such an incident in order to contain and minimize the damage.

• Also, it must be noted that insurance companies may deny coverage for broken pipes if they are a result of wear and tear. As there are numerous buildings throughout the Northeast that are aging, it is very important to maintain the pipes in your building, ascertain that they are in good working order, and to replace older pipes that could be on the verge of breaking. In addition, temperature control is key around a pipe. If pipes are exposed to colder temperatures, they stand a much greater chance of freezing, breaking, and causing severe damage to a property.

• Insurance Discounts• Water damage that occurs inside a home is the single largest preventable claim for insurance companies. Annual damages

are estimated to be approximately $800,000,000 a year in the United States. This figure is well into the billions of dollars worldwide. Many people have either experienced water damage themselves, or know someone who has. AquaLock Global has finally developed an effective and affordable solution that eliminates this major problem.

• AquaLock eliminates 99.9% of any potential water damage that comes from within the home. AquaLock uses time tested, proven technology to reliably address this problem. The AquaLock is easy to install on existing homes, with installation time typically taking three hours or less. AquaLock Global based upon information provided by a source within the insurance industry, is confident that major insurance companies will give a discount of 10% - 20% on homeowner policies insuring homes equipped with the AquaLock. . AquaLock believes that in the future, insurance companies will offer additional incentives and support future marketing efforts associated with AquaLock to encourage its installation in homes. The AquaLock is just simply that effective!

The Solution-Our Product

AquaLock™ SystemThe AquaLock™ system monitors all water flow going into your home. If flow is detected when no person or appliance is using water, the system recognizes this as a leak and will immediately shut off all the water flowing into your home. Also, if your pipes near freezing temperatures the system will shut off the water to your home and pump most of the water in your pipes safely outside.

The AquaLock™ system:Monitors your plumbing system for leaks and shuts off the water supply to your home when a leak is detectedNotifies your smartphone when a leak is detectedNotifies your smartphone when temperatures could fall low enough to freeze your pipesAllows you to check the temperature of your pipes on your smartphone Allows you to turn on and off your water remotely via your smartphoneAllows you to see your water usage and calculate your bill via your smartphoneAutomatically drains your pipes if you are away and pipe temperatures near freezingAutomatically shuts off the water to your home and pumps most of the water in your pipes safely outside if your pipe reaches near freezing temperatures.Detects leaks in your home and shuts off your water supply if less than two ounces of water is leaked in one minute.MicroLeak Detection™ - nightly checks the integrity of your entire plumbing system for extremely low volume leaks.Open Valve Protection™ - If someone fails to turn off a faucet, a toilet gets hung or an appliance fails the system will detect this and turn your water off both lowering your water bill and protecting our environment by conserving one of our most valuable natural resources. The AquaLock™ system is a Green Product conserving water and preventing water damage which reduces landfill waste, conserves natural resources and lowers pollution levels that occur due to the manufacturing of replacement materials damaged by water.

What Makes Our System Unique

• Purpose Of Device• The AquaLock is designed to prevent water damage associated with broken pipes, supply lines, or any malfunction of any appliance

that uses water. It also takes into account human error, and can protect from things like overflowing a sink or bathtub. A dual role AquaLock also serves as a water manager and conservator of water resources.

The AquaLock System Development and Market NicheThe reasons we developed the AquaLock are because we saw significant needs and desires in the marketplace. Those needs and desires are as follows:

• 1. Insurance Company Claims. Water damage to homes because of supply line failure is costing insurance companies $9.3 billion each year. Only acts of God cost more money than supply line damage (fire is third).

• 2. Conservation. The EPA has stated that over 1 trillion gallons of water is leaked in U.S. homes each year. This has a significant impact on the environment and is a cost to consumers.

• 3. Information. Home owners want to know how much water they are using. As a society we are well beyond the stage of believing a meter buried in our front yards and trusting some municipal organization to tell us how much water we are using.

• 4. Connectivity and Home Automation. The Home Automation market is experiencing dramatic growth. Homeowners want to be able to connect with their homes remotely; from controlling temperature to turning on the tea pot (yes you can buy a cell phone controlled tea pot!). Being able to control the water going into our homes and monitor pipe temperature is a natural evolution of this trend.

• 5. Through analysis of supply line water damage prevention AquaLock will fill the gap in the market place to prevent water damage.

• 6. Develop product concepts that fill future gaps in the market.

AquaLock Sales-Marketing Plan

Page 14: AquaLock An End To Water Damage Contact For More Information Mark Baldino 703-906-3154 mbaldino@baldinos.com

• Our Dealers/Authorized Resellers:• There are over 540,000 plumbers and home builders in the United States, not to mention water damage restoration companies, security system dealers and home

water treatment companies, which we see as our primary dealer/authorized reseller market. However, there are other types of businesses which may find it easy to include sales of the AquaLock™ system within their current business structures.

• Selling 120,000 units per year can be achieved within five years. For example, 5,000 Dealers/Authorized Resellers selling just two units each per month would be 10,000 units per month. With an aggressive, well thought-out and well-executed corporate marketing campaign we feel these projections could easily be more than doubled.

• Within 5 years a conservative sales estimate of 120,000 units per year with an average sales price (for a smaller home) of $1,200 per unit would equate to $144 million in gross revenue. Based on the typical minimum attractive rate of return of 12 percent, which we feel can be easily achieved - our profit would be $17,280,000. At 15% ownership, dividends would amount to $2,592,000 the 5th year.

• Our Industry Outlook• There are over 132 million homes in the US (latest US Census statistic). Installing the AquaLock™ system in 120,000 homes per year would only cover 0.09 percent

of these homes (9 AquaLock™ systems for every 10,000 homes). This does not even begin to keep up with new construction, as the average housing starts per year is about 1,600,000.

• Already, due to the high rate of water damage claims, insurance companies have begun inducing homeowners to install water damage prevention devices in their homes. Due to aging building infrastructures and dwindling water resources, we foresee that municipalities will begin requiring homebuilders to install our product or its equivalent in every new home. We predict that in 50 years every housing unit will have a system such as the AquaLock™ on it. Based on the current number of housing units and the projected growth rate, 3.9 million units will need to be installed every year for the next 50 years.

• AquaLock™ Long Term Profit Scenario• If our market share is only 10% over those 50 years, we would sell an average of 390,000 units per year. Our gross revenue (at a projected sales price of $1,200 per

unit) would average $468 million per year. Based on a more conservative 8.8 percent net profit margin (the most recent average for S&P 500 companies), our profits would be $41,184,000 per year. At 15% ownership, average dividends would be over $6 million per year.

• • If we are able to obtain a 50% market share, that would be 1.95 million units per year. During this period of time, our gross revenue (at a projected sales price of

$1,200 per unit) would be $2.34 billion per year. Based on an 8.8 percent net profit margin, our profits would be about $206 million per year. At 15% ownership, average dividends would be well over $30 million per year during that period.

• Our Future• We plan to start out with homes, but that is just the beginning – there are other building types (factories, warehouses, large retail outlets, high-rise office buildings

and etc.) needing water loss and damage prevention as well. Plus, the United States only contains a fraction of the homes and businesses in the world.

The Competition

• No one has a sophisticated water control system such as AquaLock. Our difference, We can detect an unauthorized water leaks and prevent damage to a home or business.

• Others are just are able to detect water on the floor and alert you. However the damage has already been done to the structure. How much depends on how soon a person can turn off the water. If on vacation or hours away, the water damage will be catastrophic. Not so good.

• AquaLock we stops leaks before they cause damage.

The Timing Is Right

• Market Place • The reason we developed the AquaLock™ is because there is a significant need and demand in the

marketplace for our products. Here is the breakdown: • 1. Insurance Company Claims. Water damage to homes because of supply line failure is costing

insurance companies $9.1 billion each year. Only acts of God cost more money than supply line damage (fire is third). (Homeowner Damage from Frozen Pipes this Winter Largely Avoidable, says ACE Private Risk Services http://news.acegroup.com/press-release/north-america/homeowner-damage-frozen-pipes-winter-largely-avoidable-says-ace-private-

• Several insurance companies are currently providing up to 20% reduction in insurance premiums when homeowners install a water damage protection system. Many insurers require installation of a water damage protection system after a supply line failure and some are providing rebates to homeowners for up to $2,500 for installing a system in their homes after a supply line damage claim.

• 2. Conservation. The EPA has stated that over 1 trillion gallons of water is leaked in U.S. homes each year. That is enough water to supply the cities of Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami COMBINED! https://blog.epa.gov/blog/2011/08/the-real-worth-of-water/. This has a significant impact on the environment, water conservation (especially during time of drought) and is a cost to consumers.

Homeowners want to be able to connect with their homes remotely; from controlling temperature to turning on the teapot (yes you can buy a cell phone controlled tea pot!). Being able to control the water going into our homes and monitor pipe temperature is a natural evolution of this trend.
