DESCRIPTION
Augmented reality is a blending of virtual reality and the real world and is one of the latest innovative tools used to engage students. Learn to implement augmented reality in the classroom. Create content for students, and have your students teach others by creating their own. Participants will learn to implement augmented reality in the classroom using the free application Aurasma, available on iOS or Android. Participants will be guided through a hands on lesson where they create their own augmented reality on their smartphone or tablet. They will have all the tools necessary to begin using this technology immediately, with examples on how to use it across most disciplines.
