IntroductionDesign Code Architects is a practice made up of young but well experienced and enthusiastic Designers, Architects, and Engineers who are at the forefront of legislation, regulations, and wield in-depth knowledge of the construction industry. All these elements combined make for smooth approval processes coupled with beautiful final outcomes that anyone would be proud of.

We believe that there is no “one-size-fits-all” solution to spatial curation because every person is different. We believe that our clients play an intimate role in their project’s process and so the process and outcome will always be unique.

Whether the project is a straightforward extension of space or structural modification, a completely new and luxury home for life complete with full Interior Design or a large scale investment opportunity, our team are ready to make the image in your head a reality.

Our company is a complete architectural ecosystem; we can take a project from start to finish with all the necessary bells and whistles. We have strong connections within the construction industry along with Building Control companies. We know how to get what you want done, how you want it to be done.

We have a team of creative, knowledgeable, and talented Architects, Designers, and Structural Engineers who work together and produce fantastic results. Each and every one of the team have skills in a multitude of different sectors of the industry and that knowledge is shared amongst everyone toward the aim that the best possible results are produced.

We are an incredibly diverse environment. Tailored serviceInitial MeetingFollowing RIBA work stages, the design process begins with a meeting with an architect at your property. This initial design session lasts for either half a day or a full day, depending on your requirements. We will help to define your brief and advise on the best way forward for the project.

Outline DesignRIBA work stages 2-3The design process is a collaborative one, and your architect will discuss each aspect of the proposal in detail with you as the design develops. We provide drawings, material samples and 3D rendered views that illustrate the qualities of the proposed spaces.

Detailed DesignRIBA work stage 4At this stage we will progress the de-sign from planning drawings to a ful-ly developed proposal, with detailed drawings and schedules describing the works. These form part of a package that will enable prices to be provided for construction.

ConstructionDuring construction works, your archi-tect will visit the site to see that work is proceeding in accordance with the proposed designs, and following com-pletion will make final inspections and advise on any rectification works re-quired.

Client & Brief:Our client had little faith in this site, but the potential had yet to be fully understood. The tight parameters of the site meant that every square meter was valuable and its conversion from a pawn brokers sorely needed in this high street going through regeneration. What we achieved:Demolition of a two storey loan shop.Erection of a 6 storey, Mixed use apartment building in an unusually tight site making use of the slightest moments of aspect available. The long and thin spaces are curated to allow a flow of life with the risk of feeling constrained mitigated by the open plan, but visually divided spaces. Separating the living area to the front, more lively zone of the Highstreet and the bedroom to the rear to maximise the connection to the life of the street and minimising the disruption, respectively.

Client & Brief:A family of three generations under one roof with a view to grow together in a new and spacious home. What we achieved:• Demolition of existing house• Re-forming of landscape to protect

against future subsidance• Design approved for a two storey new

build house with accommodation in a large roof space

Outcome:We achieved a modern 5 bedroom house design with accommodation on all three levels which stitches well into the more traditional but varied street scene. A large portal guides and welcomes you into spaces connected and partitioned off to form a functional, formal, and fun space to share memories with family and friends from all three generations. The project is nearing completion on site and we are looking forward to standing in the large double height living space.

Holland Road,BrentStatus: Under constructionCategory: #Residential

Client & Brief:Married couple in need of further space in anticipation of new members of the household asked us to find a way to extend their house further than they had already achieved to grant a substantial amount of space to future proof their home.

What we achieved:• Rear single storey Extension• Double storey Side Extension

Outcome:We were able to get full planning permission and found the most valuable areas of the house to maximise its vital spaces in the preparation of their future.
