LITTLE TOKYO APARTMENTS

SANTA ROSA PRIMARY SCHOOL HONDURAS

- High density housing project - 50 units - Little Tokyo, CA.- Apartment blocks are raised for a ground floor public space- Studio instructor: Christoph Kapeller

USC Global Architecture Brigades took part in a design competition for a primary school in the small community of Santa Rosa in Honduras. We went to Honduras in January 2011 to start construction on the chosen design.

It was extremely valuable hands on construction experience that cannot be taught in school. As a student, being a part of a project that actually gets built and helps a community is a rare opportunity.
