The bright color sequences of Knit Picks Chroma yarn in lollipop color-way was exactly what I envisioned for a springme hat. Loom: All-n-One-Loom, set up to 70 stches, then increased to 80 stches. Yarn: 150-180 yards of worsted weight yarn. Knit Picks Chroma Worsted in Lollypop color was used in sample. Noons: Kning tool, tapestry needle. Gauge: 8.5sts =2 inches in stockinee, steamed blocked. Size: Sample fits a head that measures up to 21 inches. Abbreviaons: K=knit, P=purl, sts=stches, yo=yarn over (ewrap), k2tog=knit two stches together, p2tog=purl two stches together, CO=Cast on, GBO=Gather bind off method Instrucons Brim CO 70 sts, join to work in the round. Round 1, 3, 5, 7: k Round 2, 4, 6, 8: p Round 9: *k7, yo on the 7th peg; rep from * to the end (10 pegs have a YO on them). Round 10: *k6, move the YO to peg 8, k peg 7, move YO from peg 8 to peg 7, k the YO; rep from * to the end of round.

Springtime is a time of bright beautiful colors, this slouchy hat brings about a rainbow full of cheer with its grand array of colors. The bright color sequences of Knit Picks Chroma yarn in lollipop color-way was exactly what I envisioned for a springtime hat.

Loom: All-n-One-Loom, set up to 70 stitches, then increased to 80 stitches.

Move all the stitches to a piece of scrap yarn. Re-set knitting loom to 80 pegs. Place the stitches from the scrap yarn back on the knitting loom.

BodyKnitting loom is set up to 80 pegs and 80 stitches are on the knitting loom. **Round 1: k1, *k1, yo 3 times on the same peg (ewrap peg 3 times); rep from * to the last peg. Round 2: (Working on 5 pegs at a time). *Drop the YOs on the first 5 pegs (first peg of the round, doesn’t have any YOs). Elongate these stitches and move all these elongated stitches to peg 2. Elongate the wraps over 4 pegs (from peg 2 to peg 5). Work on these 5 elongated stitches as follows: k1, [p1, k1] twice. Rep from * to the end of round. Round 3, 5, 7: kRound 4, 6, 8: p**Rep from ** to **: 4 more times, or until slouch measures desired length. On the fifth repeat from ** to ** stop at beginning of Round 7 and continue to the Crown Decrease section.

Crown Decrease Next round: *k2tog; rep from * to the end of round. (40 sts)Next round: p2tog; rep from * to the end of round. (20 sts)GBO. Weave ends in. Steam block to open all the small crowns.
