Three years ago, I still remember the first time my mom getting our home a new TV set. At first, I did not really notice what was the different from our old TV. Then, I started searching channels randomly just to find out what was there. My eyes automatically stared to this one show and could not look anywhere around. It was shown on how a hotel kitchen produced meals for their customers and I watched the show until finished. This somehow, intrigued I believe that good food can go beyond culture barriers. However, tastebud is very personal. It is not easy to satisfy one tastebud to one kind of food.. Since three years ago, I asked my mom to teach me how to cook our family meal. At first it was not an easy tasks to do but I kept trying by learning from my mom, reading books and watching food TV channel. I always believe that food is the way to make people happy. Hence, it is not a simple thing to produce food. Hence, to satisfy people’s tastebud to earn a simple smile upon their face. My first cullinary innovations? My first TV show that I watch? If people ask me, I do not remember the first time when I love food. I just love the fact that food can speak different languages. They can literally change negative apriori into positive memories through a mixture of quality, creativity, speed, efficiency and beautifulness which eventually can put a smile in their faces and in my face.
