Every year Christmas seems to come

around faster and faster. It is a wonderful time of

year, full of family, food, laughter and gifts. We have found over the

years, however, that for some people, mainly the cook, it can be a

very stressful time. We urge you to let us help. We have scoured the

countryside and tried and tasted every single product in our Christmas

catalogue. We know you will love our selection so let us take some of

the stress from you. You can order everything you need for a fantastic

festive season from us. Not only do we have turkeys, gammons and

chipolatas we also have a hand picked selection of wines, the best

cheeses, puddings so good you’ll think you made them yourself and

inspired hampers.

The best potatoes we grow for roasting are

Red Duke of Yorks they are deliciously dry

and floury.

Once your potatoes are peeled ,cut into

similar sizes (see picture). Put in a pan of

lightly salted boiling water and bring up to

the boil. While you wait, take a

fairly deep baking tray and cover the

bottom with rapeseed oil or goose fat and place in a hot oven. Once the potatoes

have come to the boil, drain. Add one tablespoon of plain flour and shake well with

the lid on so every potato is covered in flour. Take the baking tray out of the oven

(taking care not to spill the now hot oil on yourself) carefully tip the potatoes onto

the tray. Turn the potatoes over until they are covered in the oil and pop back in

the oven for 45 minutes until they are golden brown and crispy.

Home Delivery

We all know how hectic it is at Christmas, let us take away some stress by

delivering your Christmas necessities if you live in the East Neuk.

Simply ask for a delivery when ordering your Christmas and New Year

essentials and we will bring everything to you on either Tuesday 23rd Dec or

Tuesday 30th Dec.

We will phone after 4pm on the day before delivery to collect payment.

Please give us a mobile number if you think you might be out. Your

shopping will then be delivered straight to your door. When payment is

taken you will be given a time slot for delivery. Please note that due to the

volume of deliveries on these days this cannot be changed.
