Dear Colleagues

The world of interventional vascular medicine is moving

quickly. The development of endovascular tools and pioneering

techniques is accelerating, and every day it becomes more

difficult to stay current and provide best-care for our patients.

In this rapidly evolving landscape practical education forums

like the VERVE symposium have become critical.

Last December we witnessed the launch of a new era in

Australasian vascular education and the feedback was

overwhelmingly positive. A number of global experts came

together to share their tremendous knowledge and experience.

We observed world-class discussion inspired by fourteen live

cases over two exciting days. These were interspersed by short,

sharp, practical talks delivered by a talented, multi-disciplinary

faculty. The event proved to be a rewarding experience for all of

those in attendance.

This year we plan to build on the strength of this distinctive

symposium. There will be more live cases, new expert strategy

sessions and an even broader program to encapsulate all

aspects of vascular disease. Our friends from Leipzig will return

to underline our strong collaborative partnership and ensure that

the LINC philosophy is brought to our shores with seamless

professionalism.

Here at VERVE we are passionate about providing a first-class

vascular event, the likes of which are unique to our region.

Our course is designed to appeal to all of those involved in

the delivery of advanced vascular care, those who want to be

exposed to current best-practice and those who wish to observe

some of the world’s leading interventionists at work.

Dierk and I look forward to meeting you in Sydney for the

second installment of the high-definition VERVE symposium.
