tournament lobby and into the late/sub room.
For Battlefy, the required information is mandatory

Failure to place the accurate information will result in sanctions
Registering for Riot Event Page
•
Log onto the League of Legends website - http://na.leagueoflegends.com/
•
Go to Community, then Community Events - http://events.na.leagueoflegends.com/
•
Register for all brackets pertaining to ARG tournaments.
•
Once you have been placed on a team, register for all other brackets or you will not receive any
prizes from RIOT.
Late Arrivals
“Not everything will go according to our plans, the key variable is called life” – Dr. Nicho
The early bird catches the worm and since there are only 130 people allowed in the tournament
they may be instances of late birds. However, they may still be an opportunity for you to play and
furthermore, receive prizing. Follow the steps outline and be patient.
•
Make sure your identity lines up with tournament rules
•
Join the Late/Sub Room
•
After drafting is completed and teams are ready to commence battle on the rift the
Tournament Host will move you to the Priority Sub Room.
•
Participants who enter the Priority Sub Room are given Priority Substitution Rights
into a game base on their rank and the rank lost from the team. Therefore, if a team
needs a substitute for a Silver 4 player who needed to be replaced, any player

between Bronze 1 – Silver 2 in the Priority Sub Room may be substituted into the
team.
•
However, if there is a Silver 4 player and a silver 3 player in the priority sub room.
The Tournament would make a decision based on the role of missing teammate and
the substitute’s ability to play that role. Participants may receive a Priority SubToken if an error on the Tournament’s Host Side results in their inability to play in
the tournament.
•
Be ready and available as at any moment a spot may be open.
•
Be Patient, if selected register for the associated bracket.
Many people leave before the opportunity arises.
~ It is not recommended to play a game when you are waiting to fill in for a team.
~ If you are busy, we will pick the next available player for the team.
~ You are not guaranteed to play if you are a substitute.
~ There will be future events so you can always try to be early next time.
Substitutions
•
Substitutions can and will be made by Tournament Host alone.
•
Captains can request a substitution but cannot request a particular player. The decision on the
appropriate substitute will be determined by the Tournament Host.
•
If there is a player who is AFK after the pause reaches the 10 minute mark, you will be forced to
play 4v5 or forfeit at the 20 minute mark via the surrender option if your team so desires.
•
You WILL only obtain a substitute player if a player has left or is unable to play due to lag or real
life issues or is portraying negative behavior before it reaches the 5 minute mark and first blood
has not be taken.
•
If a team has a substitute player they must create a new game.
•
You are not required to keep the same picks/bans if you have received a substitute when you
require the remake of the game.

Pre-Game
•
The appointed match does not required creation by players as it has already be
constructed through battlefy. All matches created are Summoner’s Rift, 5 v 5 Tournament
Draft.
•
Once brackets are seeded and started by the Tournament Hosts each team will receive a
code on battlefy for their specified match. To join the match lobby this code must be entered in
the ‘Tournament Code’ Section of the ‘Custom’ Option of the League of Legend’s Game Client,
which appears once you click ‘ Play ‘
•
There is a maximum of 10 minutes waiting time before the designated match must
begin. Once a player enters the lobby that signifies they are ready to begin. However, the
captain of each team must respond R in the game lobby to beginning the match. Captains must
remember once they say ‘R‘, the individual with the power to start the game can start.
•
If a teammate is AFK for more than four minutes during the waiting time, a substitute
can be attained.
•
No individuals other than designated streamers, organizers or sanction staff should be
in the spectator’s lobby during waiting time for the game. Individuals who have been given
permission to spectate should inform both teams of their presence. Your friends are free to use
the spectate feature in game to spectate the match through you.
•
During champion select if your teammate disconnects, the game can be restarted.
However, all bans and picks up to the point must be maintained. If your teammate selected your
champion to trade with you and disconnects, the game must be remade and unless the enemy
team allows for you guys to make the swap the champions will remain in possession of the
player who locked it in.
•
If a substitute is attained the game can be remade however, as mention in the
Substitution Subsection of Participation, the bans must be kept constant.
•
Games will not be restarted due to wrong runes or masteries.
Any player who is substituted during prized rounds forfeits their prizing. E.g. Player 3 is sub out due to
being idle/ failing to join the lobby for over 10 minutes in match lobby in the Finals will not receive any
prizes despite earlier participation.
Any problems during the Pre-game should be directed towards the Tournament Host.

In-Game
•
Each team is awarded a total of 10 minutes pause time with only 3 pauses available.
•
A pause can be used at any time outside of combat for any reason pertaining to in-gameor out-of-game issues. E.g. Player 3 keyboard disconnected, or player 4 had to go turn the
chicken. However, note that once 10 minutes has been used up the game must be resumed
even if two pauses are still available.
•
A Pause cannot be used while players are in Combat. Combat can be seen as
fights between enemy teams 1 v 1s and team fights (more than one player from any
team in combat with anyone)
•
When resuming a match both team must state they are ready by stating ‘ R ‘, and this
should be done mainly by the captains of each team unless they are unable to for any practical
reason.
•
If a member disconnects within the first 5 minutes of the game and before first blood
has be taken, and has not returned since then the game can be remade in its entirety after
receiving a substitute for that individual. Please seek the Tournament Host if this issue occurs.
•
The use of cross chat is allowed, however, to preserve and maintain a healthy
experience we forbid the use of any statements which the opposing team may find offensive.
More detailed references would be made in the Participant’s Behavior & Attitude Section.
Post-Game
•
Once the game has been completed, the responsibility of updating the score lies with
the captain of the winning team. Only he should update the score on battlefy. Issues updating
battlefy will be dealt with by the Tournament Host.
•
Issues pertaining to teammates should be reported at this point and not during the
game.
•
If you have lose a match in the top 8 it is ok to leave TeamSpeak, however, if you lose a
game the semifinals then you also have a 3rd/4th place match which is also RP prized. If you leave
the TeamSpeak server for a considerable amount of time a substitute will be appointed to your
team in your absence.
