Arguments Against Baptism

Baptism and baptize with reference to

water and Jesus are used about 22 times in

the New Testament. Hence, baptism is aNew Testament subject. Baptism is part of

the Great Commission.

new birth; hence, to teachessentiality is to make a symbol

necessary (cp. Rom. 6).

baptism can also be used to eliminate belief,

repentance, and confession. We need toaccept simply what is taught in the scriptures

and gladly act upon it (Acts 2: 41).
