ARMED AND LEGAL STRUGGLES. Maoist terrorist CPP’spotent weapon to bring down government. They will never stop untiltotal capitulation of our freedoms and democratic ideals is attained!

“THE PRESIDENT should now have taken thebitter pill of sleeping with the enemy and‘riding the tiger’ that it took the guts out ofVice President Jejomar Binay to come out inhis defense,” said ANAD Rep. Jun Alcover ashe urged President Benigno Aquino III to wakeup and face reality that his decision taking insome communist personalities in his officialfamily and workplace does not and shall neverserve the ends that he has envisioned.

“Even in furtherance and strengtheningof his own Liberal Party, communists can neverbe relied, much more trusted, because theyhave their own agenda far different and distinctfrom our mainstream politics reflective of thereal democratic-republican system,” heexplained.

Rep. Alcover was reacting to VicePresident Binay’s call on student activists(read: communist political drumbeaters) to givePresident Aquino a break and at the same timeurging them to stop targeting the President

Wake up, Mr. President!using a new form of protest called‘Noynoying’.

“I am sad that the President has notlearned the lessons of the past particularlywhen in l986, immediately after the EDSAPeople Power1, Jose Ma. Sison, Satur Ocampo, and other key communist personalities sweettalked his mother, then President Cory Aquino,to release them from detention but later ondemanded sharing of power in governmentwhich President Cory turned down promptingthem to leave the country, seek asylum inEurope, and continue their sickeningrevolution against government,” said the lonepro-democracy solon in Congress.

The former NPA political andcommanding officer in Eastern and CentralVisayas pointed out that the lessons he learnedin the underground reminds him that “Thecommunists will never stop in using everymeans available, either armed or political, untilgovernment is destroyed!” he added.

Protracted War!“THIS IS the Maoist communists’Protracted Peoples War (PPW) that we’vebeen saying all along! The launching today(March 12) of a series of mass actions togenerate 1 million signatures against thespiraling oil prices is but one of the manycircus and plays that Maoist terroristsectoral and pseudo partylist groups haveconcocted to bring down the economy ofthe country!”

ANAD Rep. Jun Alcover stronglypointed out this scenario as he warned theAquino III administration to be prudent andbrave enough to separate the ‘chaff fromthe grains’, “He should be honest inadmitting that there are people in his circlethat do not intend, much more support hisvisions and program of governance for thecountry and people. Instead, they make useof their positions and connections ingovernment to bolster their self-styledobsession to bring down the dulyconstituted, free, and democraticgovernment of the country,” he said.

Simply put, Rep. Alcover revealed that

Maoist sectoral front and pseudo partylistgroups led by Bagong Alyansa Makabayanand Bayan Muna are now engrossed inwaging protracted war againstgovernment. “According to Sun Tzu, afamous Chinese general in his book – TheArt of War: A protracted war drains stateresources. There is no instance of acountry having benefited from prolongedwarfare,” he said.

Rep. Alcover cited that it is the verysame group, in l998, that sought, used force, and mounted several protest actions callingfor the repeal of Republic Act 6173 (passedby Congress in April 25, 1977 regulating theoil industry through the Oil IndustryCommission) and called for the passage ofRepublic Act 8479, known as the OilDeregulation Law during the administrationof then President Fidel Ramos. “I cannotunderstand the logic and thinking of thesepeople! Ngayon gusto na naman buwaginnila ang batas na sila din ang gustongmaisakatuparan noon! Parang sala salamig, sala sa init!” said Rep. Alcover.

“Definitely, the President erred when hedecided to take in some communistpersonalities into his administration hopingthey would help government end the 43-yearold communist insurgency,” he explainedwhile describing President Aquino’s tack as‘riding the tiger.’

Rep. Alcover stressed that since July 1,2010, too obvious not to escape one’s noticeis the fact that Maoist pseudo partylist andother communist personalities stickily clung, like leeches, on PNoy’s government while theirsectoral front farmworkers group, the KMP-AMGL-ULWU and AMBALA, remainedstrong in their resolve in asking the SupremeCourt to distribute some 4,900 hectares ofLuisita farmlands to its members; and at thesame time firm in its desire to strip down theCojuangco’s to bankruptcy by opposing thePhp 10B compensation sought by the ownersof HLI. This alone tells us of communisttreachery and brute opportunism!” he said.

“True to being disciples of Mao Tse Tung, they efficiently manipulated government usingthe Maoist line: Oppose what the governmentsupports; Support what the governmentopposes. If President Aquino stubbornlyrefuses to face reality, surely he will be eatenby the tiger!” Rep. Alcover emphasized.

“No amount of persuasion by anyone butPresident Aquino himself could ever stifle thecommunists’ political rampage by showingresolute leadership to steer the country awayfrom a political trap skillfully laid out by thedevouring communist wolves,” he added.(Dennis Monsanto)

ON PATRICK’S MURDER. Human rightscomplaint filed with CHR-11 office.

As the Maoist New People’s Army (NPA) celebrated its 43rd foundinganniversary on March 29, 2012, the Victims of Injustice, Communismand Terrorism in Mindanao (VICTIM), filed a formal complaint withthe Commission on Human Rights (CHR) Regional Office 11 in DavaoCity against the Maoist terrorist NPA on the murder of Filipino-Swiss businessman Patrick Arnold Kuhn Winiger, and four othercomplaints of human rights violations.

Arthur J. Tariman filed the complaint in his capacity as ANADPartylist Mindanao Coordinator and Spokesman and Convenor ofVICTIM, a human rights advocacy organization.

The filing of five formal complaints was followed by an indignationmarch and lightning rally at the CHR-11 offices, Quimpo Blvd., Matina,Davao City. ANAD and Bagong Alsa Masa-Davao membersspearheaded the protest action with placards and streamers mostlymade out of recycled materials.

In his affidavit-complaint, Tariman averred, among others, thefollowing: a) At about 7:40am of March 7, 2012, Patrick Kuhn-Winiger,an ANAD regional leader in Southern Mindanao, was treacherouslymurdered by 4 unidentified armed men in the vicinity of a makeshiftmarket area along Villamarzo st. in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato; b)Based on investigation conducted by the PNP, the victim sustainedtwo gunshot wounds on the head and another gunshot wound on theright side of his chest, l inflicted by .45 caliber pistols, resulting to hisdeath. The assailants left the crime scene on board a black HondaXRM and a blue Honda TMX, both without registration plate numbers;c) When gunned down, Patrick was alone and buying some foodstuffsfor the 15th birthday celebration of his eldest daughter and the deathanniversary of his father, Kurt Winiger; and d) On March 8, 2012, theMerardo Arce Command, Southern Mindanao Regional OperationsCommand, NPA, issued a press statement claiming responsibility forthe murder of Patrick Arnold WINIGER. In the same statement, theNPA linked that Patrick to the murder of Father Fausto Tentorio ofArakan Valley;

For his part, Tariman denied the accusation saying that indeed it

“WE HAVE not and shall never threaten anyone,” said ANADRep. Jun Alcover as he clarified ANAD’s position to defenditself, if government fails to protect its citizens from harm andviolence of the Maoist terrorist NPA, in the different parts of thecountry.

Reiterating his stand expressed during his privilege speech, last March 19, and the pro-democracy alliance’s stand, in a pressstatement dated March 21, “We must protect ourselves from theviolence and human depredations committed by the heartlessNPA,” he pointed out.

He explained that ANAD officers and members had fallenvictims of Maoist terrorism, until today, “Thousands of ourmembers, from the time ANAD came into existence until today, were victims of Maoist terrorist treachery! The latest is PatrickWiniger, 48, treacherously felled by Maoist terrorist bullets in alocal market in Kidapawan City, North Cotabato, last March 7,while buying several items to celebrate the 15th birthday of hisdaughter. Thus in the coming years the daughter shall celebrateher birthday on the same day that she will mark the deathanniversary of her father, Patrick,” he added.

In the same press statement, ANAD scored Simon Santiago,a self-claimed Political Director of the NPA Medardo ArceCommand in Southern Mindanao for handing out the deathpenalty on Winiger saying, “There is no instance that the Maoistterrorist CPP-NPA-NDF could easily justify their killing ofhelpless civilians, extorting money and goods from haplesscivilians and legitimate businesses, proliferation and use of theprohibited improvised explosive devices (IED), recruiting minorsand exploiting them as child warriors in combat, and in spreadingscurrilous lies, pretensions, and deceptions to mislead our peopleand sway public opinion against the constitutionally mandatedgovernment of the Republic of the Philippines.”

While pointing to ANAD’s continuing commitment to a non-violent advocacy in confronting and opposing the evils of Maoistterrorism “. . .ANAD officers and members will not be preventedfrom protecting themselves against any forms of threat from theviolent NPA,” said the statement.

On the other hand, “Issuing threats against anyone is notour character! But giving a warning on anybody, particularlythose seeking the destruction of our freedoms and democraticideals, is a fair game for us,” Rep. Alcover emphasized as helaughed-off insinuations and described as cheap political gimmickreports that a leader of some Maoist sectoral front and pseudopartylist groups received a text messages allegedly threateninghis life, which later on the same person said came from an officein the North Wing building of the House of Representatives, inside the Batasan Pambansa Complex in Quezon City.

“Oh no, I cannot believe they’re still hallucinating untiltoday!” Rep. Alcover exclaimed. (Marlon Labra)

Sleeping with the enemy! Thisseems to be the undeclared policyof President Aquino III when he

decided to take in some but notoriouscommunists into his inner circle. Theseare the very same personalities that foryears had been fighting government afterthey swore to seek the latter’scapitulation.

Surprisingly, despite theirundeclared truce, these very samecommunist organizations are hitting thePNoy administration at will! From theplanking for of protests, which utterlyfailed to draw public support, theyswitched to ‘Noynoying’ which simplyportrays the President pretending to bebusy at work but actually doing nothing!

Not only that, as the communists, e.g.Maoist, and Socialist, are busy suckingthe resources of government with theirrelative closeness with the powers thatbe, their sectoral groups are openlyhitting at PNoy with issues coveringagrarian reform to human rightsviolations. KMP is seeking to strip theCojuanco’s to bankruptcy in Tarlac. Eventhe anti-corruption drive of the ChiefExecutive did not escape their insidioustirades.

Compounding this condition is thefact that not only is PNoy sleeping withthe enemy but also riding the tigerbecause of his burning desire to end the43 year old Maoist terrorist insurgencyduring his term! A tiger is an animal thatcannot be tamed if his stomach is empty. This fits to a ‘T’ what the communistappetite for treachery and violence hasbeen known for.

Many of those who had been close tothe late President Cory Aquino would saythat no one, even President Cory, couldassuage PNoy into changing focus anddirection on whatever the latter decidesto do.

Even some media personalitiescovering the House and the Senate, whenPNoy was in both chambers then, didsubscribe to PNoy’s steadfast andunwavering decision. Many would say itis just his being stubborn to boot.

Now with PNoy at the helm ofgovernance, he too will taste the product

Miscalculation?PRESS STATEMENT

ALEX TORRES

Don’t ever provoke us!The goriest of all killings of innocent andhelpless Filipinos are justified by the MaoistCommunist Party of the Philippines-NewPeoples Army-National Democratic Front asrevolutionary acts (sic!). Yet they have thestomach to demand justice from thegovernment that they’re obsessed indestroying! They recklessly murder peoplewithout serving out the required due processmandated by international covenants on theprotection and promotion of people’s right andwelfare! This, notwithstanding the guaranteesand mandates enshrined by our country’sconstitution that the Maoist terrorist CPP-NPA-NDF blatantly defied, time and again!

The statement by a certain SimonSantiago, self-claimed Political Director of theNPA’s Medardo Arce Command in SouthernMindanao, last March 16, sends more chillingsignals against our people’s peace instead ofgiving adequate and clear responses to theunfettered violence and inhumanity theypurposely committed and permeated, in thecountryside.

There is no instance that the Maoistterrorist CPP-NPA-NDF could easily justifytheir killing of helpless civilians, extortingmoney and goods from hapless civilians andlegitimate businesses, proliferation and use ofthe prohibited improvised explosive devices(IEDs), recruit minors and exploit them as childwarriors in combat, and in spreading scurrilouslies and deceptions to mislead our people andsway public opinion against theconstitutionally mandated government of theRepublic of the Philippines!

Democratic processes demands theinstitutionalization of due process and theobservance of the equal protection clausebefore any penalty is meted out againstanyone. Sad is the fact that this is strikinglymost violated and was never complied by theMaoist CPP-NPA-NDF! They’ve maintainedtheir propensity to shoot first before justifying(sic!) any of their acts against humanity! Theyshamelessly cower behind the issues raisedby their minions, in the political sectoral-frontgroups, against retired Maj. Gen. JovitoPalparan to hide their dastard and irresponsibleconduct against humanity! This surely is‘COLD BLOODED’ murder!

In the case of Patrick Winiger, his death

was indeed one of the many cold-bloodedkillings perpetrated with impunity by theterrorist NPAs. Contrary to the sickeningallegations made by Santiago, an acolyte ofMaoist terrorism’s demonic icon, Jose Ma.Sison, Patrick’s strong faith in God did it all forhim! His unswerving love for and loyalty toour Creator and his fellowmen, in NorthCotabato, fueled the outburst of the NPA’shate on him. Again, his unwavering faith inGod that he obligingly shared with the peopleof Makilala, North Cotabato, causedthousands of its residents to directly refutethe NPA Medardo Arce Command’smischievous accusation that he mastermindedthe killing of Fr. Fausto Tentorio. Instead, thepeople raised their accusing finger and pointedit against the NPAs as behind Fr. Tentorio’sdeath.

The NPA’s lies and pretensions persistsin the same manner that their comrades in theMaoist sectoral front and pseudo partylistgroups deliberately displayed, while the latterprominently manifesting viciousness in thehallowed halls of the House of the PeoplesRepresentatives!

We should not forget that the Alliancefor Nationalism and Democracy (ANAD) stillmaintains its full adherence to a non-violentadvocacy in confronting and opposing theevils of Maoist terrorism methodically spreadby the tentacles of the Communist Party ofthe Philippines (CPP), e.g. unparalleledviolence of the New Peoples Army (NPA), andthe insistent lies, pretensions, and deceptionsof the National Democratic Front (NDF)through its legal front organizations underBagong Alyansa Makabayan (BAYAN),pseudo partylist groups led by Bayan Muna(BM), and its political party MakabayangKoalisyon ng Mamamayan (MAKABAYAN).

Nevertheless, ANAD officers andmembers will not be prevented from protectingthemselves against any forms of threat fromthe violent NPA. Indeed, violence begetsviolence! We dread that day when thesituation shall be - - TOOTH FOR A TOOTH!

If and when this condition and situationhappens because of government’s abjectfailure to protect her citizens from harms way, then we shall be compelled to protect

Outrageous!“IT IS a whole lot of lies and outrageous deception!”

These were the words of ANAD Rep. Jun Alcover in blasting Maoist terrorism’s demonicicon, Jose Ma. Sison for issuing statements to media denying that he is in the country “. . . afterstriking an agreement with President Aquino. . .” and accusing supporters of detained formerPresident Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo for spreading false information. (2/28/12,www.tribuneonline.org and www.philstar.org)

The pro-democracy solon pointed to Sison’s wild accusation naming him (Alcover) as one ofthose behind spreading the ‘false information’, “Our sources are highly credible. They are withinthose wielding government power and authority. We only warned the Filipinos of Joma’s scheduledreturn last year because indeed, according to our source, there were efforts to facilitate his travelback here,” Rep. Alcover said.

“Whether he is in the country or not is immaterial for us. Nevertheless, our statements werenever emphatic that he is here. Instead, we asked government, particularly President Aquino III,to issue a statement either to confirm or deny the information that had been wildly circulating allthroughout. Na-praning lang si Joma dahil di matuloy-tuloy yung kanyang paguwi dito, na isangobsession niya, bunga ng ating mga pagbubunyag,” Rep. Alcover clarified.

“However, the truth of the matter is that Jose Ma. Sison already has ‘lost face’; much worsehis credibility, among Filipinos. Nowadays, nobody believes him anymore but only those blindlysupporting his insatiable thirst for power! The lies, deception, plus the violence and hurt that hisminions in the terrorist NPA inflicted against lowly and innocent Filipinos has exacted much tollon his credibility and public standing, including his CPP-NPA-NDF, as alleged protectors of thepeople,” the former NPA political and commanding officer in Eastern and Central Visayas explained.

“ANAD and the thousands, if not millions, of peace and freedom loving Filipinos is wont inhearing Joma parading his vaunted lies, pretensions, and vulgar deceptions. Nobody believes himanymore! I am even surprised why those in government are still wooing him in the name of peaceand national unification,” Rep. Alcover added.

Reiterating ANAD’s call, Rep. Alcover said, “Once again, I am seeking the wisdom andconscience of President Aquino III. The talking must stop now. Let the wheels of justice fallwhere it should. Lawlessness and terrorism must end so that justice and the rule of law shallprevail.” - Remy Altura

The promise of freedom and equality by the Maoistcommunist propagandists is a lost cause. (Freedom is notabsolute in a democracy. It is limited to doing anything, within the scope

of law, as long as you don’t harm anybody. Equality means having equal rightsand opportunities, within the scope of law, for individual and/or commonaladvancement.)

Inspired by the EDSA People Power of 1986, communist countries, also strengthened by glasnost and peroistika started in USSR, rode

on the wind of change towards democracy. Yet, years earlier, manyof the inhabitants of these communist countries had died trying

to escape to democratic countries, simply because they wantfreedom and equality. The desire for freedom and equality ishuman nature the communists refuse to understand.

I once had a chance to talk with some Vietnameserefugees in Mariveles, Bataan. All of them narrated to mebitter and painful experiences encountered by them as they

made their escape from Vietnam on board small and frailboats.

Today, there are still communist countries like Cubaand North Korea. Many are still escaping from these

countries. Many are still dreaming of freedom and equality. However, China and Vietnam are on the road to capitalism.

The shouts for freedom and equality by the communist propagandists andagitators should have been made not in the Philippines but in North Korea and Cuba.

Reminder: Freedom and equality are empty promises of the communists! Theseare lost in the dustbin of world history but recycled by Filipino communistterrorists to deceive us

IT WAS past 7:30 in the morning on Wednesday, March 7,2012 and the sky was clear and weather was good in KidapawanCity, at the foot of the country’s tallest mountain, Mt. Apo, inNorth Cotabato.

Like most Wednesdays, a tall, handsome and Cebuano-speaking Caucasian was at Ladlaran on Villamarzo St. to buy somefresh fruits and vegetables from a roadside makeshift market. It wasmarket day that many people were out in the streets early foragingfor cheap fruits and vegetables from roadside vendors, most ofwhom were his friends already.

But unlike past Wednesdays, March 7 was very important tothe middle-aged and foreigner-looking man clad in red t-shirt wornover with a dirty-white polo-shirt paired with dark cargo-pants. Onthat day, his eldest daughter was celebrating her 15th birthday thathe planned to prepare some sumptuous dinner for the family andfew family friends. As in his usual routine he dropped the thenjoyous birthday celebrant at her secondary school, located not farfrom the makeshift market.

As the familiar-looking man went over his prepared list ofthings he intends to buy from the roadside market, several shotssuddenly rang from the air and the man fell to the ground face up.Somebody treacherously shot him from behind! His death was sosudden that his stiffened hands were still holding the marketinglist.

As vendors and market-goers scampered for safety, fouryoung men with their facesuncovered and all armed withhandguns threatened everyoneto speak nothing about whatthey had just witnessed or elsethey would meet the same fateas their recent victim. Asexpected, everyone coweredinto submission and daredspeak no protest.

As calm as a professionalkiller, the four youthful gunmenfled on foot towards nearbyPadilla St. where they rode in tandem into two waiting motorcycles– a black-color Honda XRM and a blue-painted Honda TMX, bothwithout registration plate.

A responding Police Alert Team pursued the murderers butonly in vain. Investigators from the Kidapawan City Police Stationand the Philippine National Police’s Scene-of-Crime Operation(SOCO)-North Cotabato Provincial Team led by PSI Michael Tanarrived at the scene to look into the incident.

It was only then that the man just murdered was officialidentified as Patrick Arnold Kuhn-Winiger, 48 years old, married, businessman, a Swiss by blood but a Philippine-born naturalizedFilipino citizen who had been a resident of Barangay Saguing innearby Makilala town. At the time he was killed, Patrick was livingwith Dr. Dinah Sato, his third legal wife of seven months – afterCourts annulled the first two marriages – in a rented apartmentsomewhere in Kidapawan while he was still constructing a new

house at the family compound in Barangay Saguing.SOCO probers found that Winiger was shot twice in the head

and once in the right chest that caused his instant death. Based onthe four empty shells and one deformed slug recovered at thescene, police later established that the triggerman of the four-manassassination team used a .45 caliber pistol against Winiger.

As police crime scene investigators were still doing their work,Catleen Winiger – the victim’s daughter and 15th birthday celebrant– arrived from school in tears after receiving the bad news from a

text message and shocked tosee his beloved father bathed inhis own blood. The girl was sotraumatized of the incident thather very religious and strong-willed grandmother MarianneKuhn-Winiger has to consoleher, until today.

At first the police were atlost as to the motive of thekilling and the identities of theassailants. But the followingday, March 8, the Merardo ArceCommand Southern Mindanao

Regional Operations Command-New People’s Army issued a publicstatement commending the Herminio Alfonso Command-GuerillaFront 53 Operations Command, Southern Mindanao RegionalCommittee for assassinating Patrick.

In that statement, copy of which was emailed to theKidapawan City Police Station, a certain “Rigoberto Sanchez,” self-styled “Spokesperson” of the NPA Merardo Arce Command -Southern Mindanao, claimed “Winiger (sic!) had long been on theNPA’s Standing Order for his anti-communist activities in NorthCotabato, Davao del Sur, and Bukidnon provinces…”

Sanchez further alleged that “He (Patrick ) coddled andfinanced fanatical and anti-NPA  Bagani groups, and targeted Fr.Fausto “Pops” Tentorio…Winiger (sic!) clearly deserved the NPA’spunishment…The swift and timely punishment of one of the

principals of Fr. Tentorio’s killing stands as a fitting and justretribution amid the false justice dispensed by the US-Aquinoregime.”

In reaction, Bishop Romulo de la Cruz of the Diocese ofKidapawan clarified with the local media that he and the RomanCatholic Church did not seek revenge for the death of the Italianmissionary in October 17, 2011 inside his parish in Arakan town inNorth Cotabato.

“We do not seek revenge for the death of Father Tentorio.  Inthe spirit of brotherly love, I am impelled to appeal to all those stillenamored by empty promises of violence to at least allow thosewho are not of the same persuasion to try the healing ways ofpeace,” Bishop De la Cruz stressed in an interview with broadcastjournalist Malu Cadelina Manar.

“As a Christian, and as your Bishop, I cannot pass over thisincident in silence.  The sanctity of life, which we hold dear in ourfaith can never make us agree, implicitly or much less explicitly, with gunning down a defenseless man no matter what crimes hemay have committed,” Bishop De la Cruz further emphasized.

For Bishop De la Cruz, he cannot condone such act becauseWiniger was not given opportunity to defend himself, Manarfurther reported.

For its part, the Alliance for Nationalism and Democracy(ANAD) Partylist asserted that, “The goriest of all killings ofinnocent and helpless Filipinos are justified by the MaoistCommunist Party of the Philippines-New Peoples Army-NationalDemocratic Front as revolutionary acts (sic!). Yet they have thestomach to demand justice from the government that they’reobsessed in destroying!”

ANAD Partylist strongly condemned the murder of Patrickand the other insidious yet relentless violence and inhuman actscommitted by the Maoist NPA against peace and freedom-lovingFilipinos as an open manifestation of the Communist Party of thePhilippines’ utter disregard for human life.

“As a born-again Christian, Patrick can never support Maoistterrorism because of his strong and unwavering faith in God.Because of this, he was picked by the Godless and violentorganization and offered him in their demonic altar of Maoistterrorist revolution,” ANAD Partylist Representative Alcover saideven as he decried as hogwash and pure canard the accusation bythe NPA command that Winiger was among those behind themurder of Fr. Tentorio.

In his privilege speech on March 19, Rep. Alcover confirmedthat until his death Patrick Winiger was an ANAD Partylist regionalleader in South-Central Mindanao.

The pro-democracy solon also made a resounding question inthe august hall of Congress: “What happened to Bagong AlyansaMakabayan, Karapatan, Gabriela, and all other Maoist pseudopartylist groups, particularly those who are here in this hallowedchamber of the Peoples’ Representatives? Your silence on themurder of Patrick Winiger is too deafening that proves only onething- - Indeed you are in the same boat with the heartless Maoistterrorist Communist Party of the Philippines-New Peoples Army!”

In a press conference in Davao City on March 30, the former-NPA-commander-turned-pro-democracy-crusader declared:

“I knew Patrick and his late father Kurt since the early 80’s,when they manifested to me their desire to help us in our peacefulcampaign against communism in the country. I was then actively

campaigning against the Maoist CPP-NPA-NDF thru my radioprogram from Cebu and they were my avid listeners then.

“Kurt Winiger, who was born in Switzerland but migrated withhis parents when his father was hired to manage the rubberplantation of the Menzis in Basilan, saw the disaster brought aboutby the rise of communism in Europe before and after World War II.Hence, Kurt’s rabid opposition against the inroad of communism inthe country.

“Since then the father and son were very part of our non-violent drive against communism primarily thru information, education, community organizing, and mobilization. Patrick hasendeared himself with many indigenous people of North Cotabatobecause he respected their culture, customs and traditions. Wecannot fault him if he was able to convince aplenty of indigenouspeople to actively oppose the intrusion of the God-less communistterrorists into their ancestral lands.”

The Winiger family has been into rubber plantation businessfor more than half a century starting with the Menzi Plantation inBasilan before resettling in Makilala in late 70’s. Arnold W. Winiger,Patrick’s grandfather, arrived in the country in the 40’s to managethe Menzi Plantation in Basilan Island. He went back to Switzerlandto marry Nelly C. Winiger, returned to the Philippines and settled inZamboanga City and got bless with a son they named Kurt.

Kurt was raised and educated in Switzerland but returned tothe Philippines first to work in a tobacco plantation in CagayanValley before taking up agriculture at the University of thePhilippines. After Kurt got married to the former Marianne Kuhn, also a Swiss national, in Manila, the couple decided to start out thefamily in Basilan where Patrick followed suit the work of his father. The couple was blessed with three children, namely, PatrickArnold, Sharon Nelly and Susan Ruth.

When an attempt was made to kidnap one his daughters, thefamily moved to Makilala sometime in 1977 to manage the 300-hectare Laguda Rubber Plantation.

Sometime in 1982, Moro separatists kidnapped Patrick andreleased him only when Kurt paid them P100,000.00 in ransom butin exchange they also took the father captive for 140 days until hemiraculously escaped on his own.

“POLARIZATION of political forces is nowunderway with the socialist’s Akbayan andthe Maoist’s Makabayan set to coalesce withPresident Aquino IIII’s political bandwagon, the Liberal Party.” ANAD Rep. Jun Alcoverissued this statement as he reiterated hiswarning on President Aquino III and quotinga Maoist communist doctrine: Whoever ridesa tiger shall be eaten by the tiger.

“At the moment, the Makabayan party,

However, the campaign tooust CJ Corona is only one sideof the double-bladed Maoistterrorist strategy to eventuallyforce President Aquino to yieldto their demands. “KilusanMangbubukid ng Pilipinas(KMP) insidious moves to takeover the more than 4,000 hectaresof land in Hacienda Luisitacoupled by Jose Ma. He explained that Joma Sison and hiscabal of demagogues, including SaturOcampo, remains steadfast in theirobsession of toppling our country’s free anddemocratic government and replacing thesame with a communist dictatorship. “Thisis affirmed in the CPP 5-year plan (2010-2015)and in the 12 point program of the NDF,”Rep. Alcover pointed out.

“Nevertheless, while PNoy has openedthe tables for the peace negotiations, his is

likewise obsessed to end the Maoistinsurgency by 2013 as spelled out by GPHhead Atty. Alex Padilla and OPAPP Sec.Teresita Quintos-Deles. Surely, PNoy willcontinue with his ‘hallucinations’, I don’t knowuntil when. Knowing the teachings, doctrines, and thinking of Maoist terrorists, like JomaSison, Satur Ocampo, Teddy Casiño, andothers, peace is only forthcoming after abloody revolution!” the former NPA politicaland commanding officer in Eastern and CentralVisayas explained.

Taking out one of Karl Marx’s famous lineght, Rep. Alcover said, “Revolution is not adinner party nor a picnic but a violentoverthrow of the system!” The sole pro-democracy solon stressed that all governmentefforts for peace with the Maoist CPP-NPA-NDF is doomed because of Maoist terrorist’sinsincerity and non-committal for peace.“Offering a lollipop to a crying baby, which isgovernment’s approach to end Maoist

marching orders to the terrorist NPAs to attackmilitary and civilian targets to force AquinoIII’s government to buckle down and return tothe negotiating table, are telling proofs on howvicious, cunning, and treacherous they are,”Rep. Alcover explained.

“The two communist groups, e.g. theRejectionist for the Socialist Akbayan, andReaffirmist for the Maoist CPP-NPA-NDF, arestirring the current political milieu in time forthe 2013 mid-term polls with the Reaffirmiststoo bullish in pushing for the inclusion ofBayan Muna’s Teddy Casiño into the LiberalParty’s 2013 senatorial slate,” he said.

On the other hand, highly crediblesources in Malacañang disclosed thatAkbayan, in its effort not to be outdone bythe Maoist Makabayan is engrossed instrengthening and expanding its political baseand influence in government. “It is for thisreason that Akbayan strongly worked andsucceeded in getting to their fold presidentialappointee ARMM Gov. Mujiv Hataman andhis wife, Rep. Saliman Hataman; and the RPA-ABB-RPMP forces in Region 6 and theNational Capital Region, among others, inpreparation for the 2016 national elections,”the sole pro-democracy solon explained.

“We are not sure whether the meeting in

Ingrid Torres

terrorism, must be stopped immediately. There is not even a ray of hope at the end ofthe tunnel, so to speak” he said.

The pro-democracy solon warned thatSatur’s latest spin against PNoy is just oneof the many fireworks expected to happenpurposely to blur the Filipino people fromthe realities of its directions. “We have beensaying all along that the ingenious Maoistpolitical operators are just ‘testing thewaters’! The ‘big bang’ is yet to come.Surely, this shall happen if we lower ourguards and allow complacency to sit in,” hesaid.

The ALLIANCE FOR NATONALISMAND DEMOCRACY (ANAD) Partylistdecried Maoist-terrorist double-edgedplot to foment misunderstanding andconfusion among Filipinos as uttertreachery and sucking “the blood out ofgovernment.”

This after Maoist pseudo partylistBayan Muna Rep. Teddy Casiño wasquoted by media saying, “The Cojuangco-Aquino family should be paid a token ofone peso for the entire Hacienda Luisitaestate, not a penny more, not a penny less, since they have already exploited the landfor more than five decades” (P1 only, notP10b, for Luisita owners, 03-09-12,www.manilastandardtoday.com).

“Undeniably, this speaks of Maoistterrorist utter treachery against PresidentAquino’s leadership and undoubtedlysmacks of vampire-like sucking of andusing government resources to fan theflames of Maoist terrorist’s nationaldemocratic revolution,” said ANAD Rep.Jun Alcover as he pointed to the cunningand wily Maoist terrorist pseudo partylistpersonalities: Casiño and Reps. NeriColmenares, Gabriela’s Luz Ilagan,Emmerciana de Jesus, Anakpawis’ RafaelMariano, ACT’s Antonio Tinio, andKabataan’s Raymond Palatino, among the188 signatories of the impeachmentcomplaint against Chief Justice RenatoCorona.

Rep. Alcover said that the high

tribunal’s decision to distribute HaciendaLuisita’s more than 4,900 hectares to morethan 6,000 farmer beneficiaries, “Ignitedand caused PNoy to use the vast powersof his office to impeach CJ Corona. Noamount of Malcañang denial would sufficeand effectively quell public perception onthe issue,” he added.

“While they titillate PNoy throughtheir political savvy, their comrades in theKilusan Magbubukid ng Pilipinas-Alyansang Magbubukid sa GitnangLuzon (KMP-AMGL) is openlydemanding the full implementation of theSupreme Court decision, causing PNoy tohave serious ‘migraine attacks’ andproblems as his family and the Cojuangcosare facing dark prospects of goingbankrupt!” Rep. Alcover explained.

However, the sole pro-democracyadvocate solon in Congress said thatCasiño et. al. are showing the Filipinopeople of what a true blooded communistis. “In faithful compliance to thecommunist doctrine: Join government todestroy government, Casiño enjoys theperks, power, influence, other governmentresources and efficiently use these toadvance the Maoist inspired nationaldemocratic revolution that ultimately seeksthe capitulation of the duly constitutedgovernment, in general, and the PNoyleadership, in particular,” he emphasized.

“In this regard, we should never trusta communist!” he said.

Casiño’s ‘political savvy’ scoredPNoy warned... P8Malaysia last 2011 between the Maoist LuisJalandoni, OPAPP Sec. Teresita Quintos-Deles,and Presidential Political Adviser RonaldLlamas drew final prints on this. But surelythey discussed the possibility of setting up atemporary alliance with the participation ofboth parties. I just hope that this is not the‘political settlement that Llamas was talkingabout earlier,” he said.

“I reiterate my call on government, themilitary, and all peace and freedom lovingFilipinos to band together and openly confrontthe surging enemies of democracy that’s justlurking around the corner,” Rep. Alcoverstressed. (Niko Codilla)
