Option 1Baseball, Brews and Blues TourYour first stop is a tour of Busch Stadium, home to the 11-time World Series Champion St. Louis Cardinals. The design of the ballpark considers the beautiful skyline of downtown St. Louis, and the colorful history of the iconic National League franchise.
Next, head to Anheuser-Busch Brewery, known for its unique architecture and three National Historic Landmarks. During the walking tour you will see the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales, the Beechwood Aging Cellars, and the historic Brew House. No visit would be complete without sampling the family of Anheuser-Busch products during the tour!
St. Louis is also the home of The National Blues Museum where you will explore the Blues and celebrate the musical genre that is the foundation of all modern music.
Option 2Get Your Kicks On Route 66St. Louis is the largest city along Route 66 between Chicago and Los Angeles, and there are many “must-sees” and related sites along The Mother Road as it transverses through the region. We will start at the Missouri History Museum, you’ll have a private curator talk while viewing snippets from the Route 66 in Missouri documentary.
Next at the Museum of Transportation, travel through 150 years of motorized history. The museum features more than 300 moving vehicles including locomotives, streetcars, rate and classic automobiles and trucks as well as a cool Coral Court room façade from Route 66.
You final stop will include a sweet treat from Ted Drewes Frozen Custard, a St. Louis tradition since 1929, with its specialty “concrete” that is so thick you can turn it upside down. This historic St. Louis establishment is one of the most stories stops along Route 66.

Option 3A Little Taste of St. Louis TourExplore the original tastes of St. Louis, during a driving overview of some of our most historic neighborhoods that feature delectable delights. Begin with a tour of Chocolate Chocolate Chocolate Company. You’ll go down to the factory floor where you can see, hear, and smell chocolates before heading to the candy kitchen.
Don’t miss the chance to explore The Hill neighborhood, a charming Italian community with personality and history. You’ll receive a taste of toasted ravioli from Favazza’s on The Hill. Next you’ll visit “The Loop”, a historic district on the National Register of Historic Places. The Loop is a six-block area complete with restaurants, shopping, art, nightlife and live entertainment. This includes Fitz’s Root Beer and one of their legendary ice cream sodas.
Option 4Where the Wild Things Are!Start with a driving tour through the magnificently restored Forest Park, site of the 1904 World’s Fair. The park encompasses 1,293 acres, 450 acres larger than New York’s Central Park, and is home to some of St. Louis’ greatest treasures, all free and open to the public including the Saint Louis Art Museum, Saint Louis Science Center and Saint Louis Zoo. The wild things that live at the Zoo will be up close and personal on your reserved Behind the Scenes tour with a zookeeper. The Missouri History Museum, another building free and open to the public, is our next stop where you will visit the Special Exhibits: Pulitzer Prize Photographs and Mighty Mississippi.
Option 5Civil Rights, An African-American ExperienceSt. Louis has been a prominent player in African Americans’ fight for civil rights for nearly two centuries, starting in 1819 when free blacks and their white allies protested Missouri’s admission into the Union as a slave state. This tour will be led by Gwen Moore, Curator of Urban Landscape and Community Identity. Beginning with a private tour and talk at the Missouri Historical Society’s Library and Research Center then travel to other venues central to St. Louis’s civil rights story including the Shelley House, site of the Jefferson Bank and the Old Courthouse.
St. Louis City Tour Options

city’s slow-cooked, spiced and saucy gift to the world – Kansas City barbecue. More than just a cooking method, it’s an institution rich with history and culinary tradition. At the Arabia Steamboat Museum you’ll be wowed by the story of a steamboat excavated from a farm field where the Missouri River once ran. Thousands of pounds of well-preserve cargo provide a glimpse into the 1850s. A tour at Boulevard Brewery, will take you behind the scenes at the largest specialty craft beer brewing facility in the Midwest.
