ART DECO AUTOUR DU MONDE

Our latest collection, ART DECO AUTOUR DU MONDE comprises 28 newly-commissioned, original, limited-edition resort posters by Charles Avalon.

To augment the existing collection of Côte d’Azur posters, and in response to demand for resorts further afield, we are pleased to present a collection of entirely new artworks, representing the glamorous destinations of Barbados, Cuba, Egypt, South Africa, Sydney, Thailand and The Maldives, amongst several others.

Our posters are not copies or reproductions of earlier works - as with all our posters, these artworks have been designed in-house here at Pullman Editions, commissioned from our principal house artist Charles Avalon, and published in limited editions of 280.

ART DECO AUTOUR DU MONDE reprises the quintessential style of the greatest vintage Art Deco travel posters, which now command huge prices on the rare occasions that they become available. Showcasing the best of Art Deco design, our posters meet the demand for stylish, decorative original posters at accessible prices.

All our posters are produced to the highest standards using traditional lithographic techniques, and are printed on 100 per cent cotton fine art paper. Available exclusively from Pullman Editions, every poster is individually hand-numbered and bears our embossed stamp of authenticity. Posters are priced at £395 each including VAT, unframed and can be ordered online at www.pullmaneditions.com or from our gallery in Chelsea, London.

The posters are the same size as vintage Art Deco posters (approximately 97 x 65 cms or 38 x 26 inches) and are supplied unframed in robust tubes. Our Central London gallery

We are pleased to offer beautifully made ash black stained oak frames, as displayed in our London gallery. This service is available to personal shoppers only as framed posters must be collected from our gallery. Unfortunately we are unable to provide a delivery service for framed posters.

We have worked with our framers for many years and their workmanship is of exceptional quality. Using the finest quality timber, each frame receives several applications of ash black stain, whilst ensuring that the unique natural grain of the wood shows through nicely on the finished frame. The frames are complemented with a generous 4-ply, acid-free ivory window-mount to visually enhance the poster. The frames are completed with UV glass to provide both UV protection and moisture resistance.

As each frame is made to order, we may not have your chosen poster(s) ready to purchase from our gallery. Framing takes between 1 - 2 weeks from placing an order for framed posters to be delivered to our gallery for collection.
