Cambridge School of ArtThe prestigious Cambridge School of Art was founded in 1858. We are an academic community of art, design and media artists focused on developing professional practice through studio and gallery–based experimentation. In total, we have some 900 students studying for undergraduate, taught masters and doctoral qualifications. All our courses offer a distinctive integration of practice and theory and all students are encouraged to be both creative and critically engaged in their chosen area of study.

Our courses are taught by first–class, research–active staff, recognised nationally and internationally as leaders in their fields. Students, academic and technical staff, graduate tutors, visiting artists and industry representatives all work closely together on collaborative projects in a supportive and friendly environment. The graduating students in all the disciplines offered by the School year demonstrate the results of all this creative activity, through the range and quality of work which they have produced.
