Aim:

To assess the level of artistic proficiency of the applicants, get insight into the thinking

process behind some of the art or design works created and encourage exposure to artin general before the course start.

The portfolio: outline

The portfolio consists of 4 assignments that need to be completed and shown. The assessment

of the portfolio will be in the form of a personal interview with the student, which takes around

15-20 minutes. Here the applicant will get an opportunity to show, explain or give insight into the

keep any portfolios).

The portfolio should contain:

composition. Reproduce the objects to display the illusion of form using

light and shadow. The student can use any drawing style or combination of

these (Contour line, cross hatching, hatching, continuous shadow, points

or dots)

Good tip: think about the placement of the objects (composition) and try to

use as much as possible of the paper surface.

Any project that has been completed during class time in “Grundskola”

during year 8/9. Attach a small summary of the project ideas and the

intended outcome on the back

Own artistic activity:

student completed in his or her free time. This can be any art media (ex.Painting, drawing, sculpting, photography etc)

Any three dimensional work needs to be photographed and added into the

file.

Give a short description of your ideas, thoughts, symbolism or process on

the back of the cardboard or add an attachment to the work
