Art In The Park is a juried show featuring both local and regional artists. Monetary prizes are awarded to best of show, first, second, and third places. The show is a family event that attracts residents from Northeast Ohio communities. Fred Fuller Park is Kents oldest park with majestic trees and scenic walking trails along the Cuyahoga river. Last years event featured 100 artists who expressed their creative talents through photography, paintings, artful apparel, ceramics and pottery, drawings, jewelry, glasswork, metal, mixed media, sculpture and wood. There are numerous demonstrations throughout the two day event. The 19th annual Sylvia Coogan Silent Auction will be located next to the information booth stocked with donated items from exhibitors. In addition to the wonderful visual art experiences, music will be performed on the main stage throughout both days. Many of the regions favorite performers will delight attendees with a wide variety such as jazz, country, folk music as well as childrens interactive music. Back again this year, with the help of Jeff Ingram from Standing Rock Cultural Arts, is the Backwoods Stage”. 2021 ART IN THE PARK Saturday, September 11 - 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. Sunday, September 12- 11:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Food Vendor Application DEADLINE: May 1, 2021

It is the policy of the Kent Art In The Park to avoid duplicating food items if possible. In trying to maintain this policy these guidelines must be followed: 1. All Applications must be approved by the Art in the Park Committee. If not approved, you will receive a

full refund. 2. Booth fee: Check one ___________ $175 without electricity, ___________ $225 if 110 electricity (limited) ___________ $275 if 220 electricity is needed (very limited). 3. If a new vendor, size of Food Vendor Booth or Vehicle __________________________________ 4. All vendors are responsible for securing booths and equipment. Water is available on a shared basis. 5. Set up begins on Friday at 5:00 pm or on Saturday morning at 7:00 am unless other arrangements have been made. Vendors must be set up in time for opening at 10:00 Saturday morning. After 9:00 a.m., no vehicles will be permitted in the festival area. They must be parked in the designated parking lot. 6. All food booths must furnish their own garbage disposal bags. 7. If your application is approved, we will send you a complete packet of necessary documents required by the City of Kent Health and Fire Department. 8. Booth Signage- Your booth must have name of vendor, with menu items/prices visible to the public. Please notify Kent Parks & Recreation of any cancellation as soon as possible, so that we may make arrangements for vendor replacements. Please, no cancellations after August 1, 2021. No refunds granted after this date.
