Live Sculpture contest
This event is a live compe��on, based on the par�cipant's
original and crea�ve expression through sculpture of natural
or imagined forms. Judgement will be based on crea�vity,
originality, Composi�on / technical excellence, ar�s�c merit
and visual impact.
Theme : Pride of Karnataka
Pain�ng Exhibi�on Live Photography
Live Photography compe��on is only for students. Judgement will be
based on the crea�vity, originality, composi�on, technical excellence,
ar�s�c merit and visual impact. (College ID Proof is mandatory)
· Each par�cipant can submit up to three (3) images.
·�Images of not more than 10 MB in size must be submi�ed to
organizers before 3'o clock on the same day and images should
be in JPEG format and Height or width should be at least 1,600
pixels.
�������·�Digital manipula�on that distorts the images will not be
allowed. Basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast
adjustment, cropping will be allowed.
Street play:
Every crea�vity involves a purposeful play, innova�on is the master of
it and the style is way to say it. Plays provoke thinking ability. The
primary objec�ve is to create a sense of awareness in the society.
Folk Dance
Dancing s�mulates the mind, heart and soul. It has proven to increase
cogni�ve strengths and prolong life, that is the miracle of dance. Come
and par�cipate in the tradi�onal folk group dance.
· A team of Maximum 10 members [either boys or girls or both]
· Number of accompanists permissible are 5
· Dura�on: 6 - 10 min
· Arrangement of sets and other things should be taken care
by the par�cipants itself with immediate ac�on
· If the par�cipa�ng team is not present on �me,
they are automa�cally considered disqualified.
����������· Judgement criteria based on Rhythm, Forma�on,
Expression, Costumes, Make-up, Sets and overall effect.
Folk Song
The Folk song is a tradi�onal culture of India. The songs being
happiness in our lives and the purpose of the event is to give
apprecia�on for folk songs.
Exhibi�on: About 100 selected pain�ngs shall be exhibited in gallery ambience and best pain�ngs Shall be awarded. For preliminary selec�on par�cipants must send either scanned or a high defini�on photo of pain�ng.
·� Each par�cipant can submit up to Two (2) Works.·��Pain�ngs based on Karnataka art and culture ·��The maximum size of the pain�ng is 4 X 4 feet.
Stall
· Stall will be provided for the par�cipant. · Stalls are allo�ed as per registra�on. · Stall size will be 6x6 Feet & your belongings will be at your risk.· Pain�ngs, Cra� work & Sculptures are allowed for sale.· Students, Ar�sts & Hobby ar�sts can par�cipate.· First come, First Preference.
Par�cipants present at the event will get Par�cipa�on Cer�ficate

Facili�es Provided:
Lunch will be provided by the organizers
· The dimension of the sculpture should not exceed 2 � in length
and breadth and 3 � in height.
· Clay will be provided to the par�cipant at the venue.
Par�cipants should bring their own tools.
· Mechanical or Electrical tools are not permi�ed.
��������· Judging Criteria for Street Play: Content: 30%, Originality : 20%,
Clarity of Message: 20%, Team Work & Audience Engagement: 30%
· Preferred Language: Only Kannada
· A Team can have Minimum 5, Maximum 15 Par�cipants & Time
Limit: 12min + 3min
· No Microphones will be provided
Theme: Jagru�
· A team of 8-12 members [either boys or girls or both]
· Dura�on: 5 -10min excluding the se�ng �me of 5 min
· Three professional accompanists are allowed and their a�re
must be different and they should not lead the team
· Folk tunes should be Kannada and recognized as folk music of
Karnataka.
Karnataka Kala Sambhrama is a one day event held on the occasion of Karnataka Rajyothsava on 4th November 2018 at Rangoli Metro Art Centre - Bengaluru, which is being organised with an objec�ve of showcasing our Karnataka Art and Culture.
