(Greek: Πάφος, Transliteration Pafos Turkish: Baf), sometimes referred to as Pafos, is a coastal city in the southwest of Cyprus and the capital of Paphos District. In antiquity, two locations were called Paphos: Old Paphos and New Paphos. The currently inhabited city is New Paphos. It lies on the Mediterranean coast, about 50 km (31.07 mi) west of the Limassol (the biggest port in island), which has a A6 highway connection. Paphos International Airport is the country's second largest airport.

Near Palaepaphos (Old Paphos) at the seaside of Petra tou Romiou is the mythical birthplace of Aphrodite, the Greek goddess of love and beauty and the founding myth is interwoven with the goddess at every level, so that Old Paphos became the most famous and important place for worshipping Aphrodite in the ancient world. In Greco-Roman times Paphos was the island's capital, and it is famous for the remains of the Roman governor's palace, where extensive, fine mosaics are a major tourist attraction. The apostle Paul of Tarsus visited the town during the 1st century AD. The town of Paphos is included in the official UNESCO list of cultural and natural treasures of the world's heritage.

Paphos enjoys a Subtropical-Mediterranean climate, with the mildest temperatures on the island. The typical summer's season lasts about 8 months, from April to November, although also in March and December sometimes there are temperature above 20 °C (68.0 °F)

Technical Specifications 1. STRUCTURE – FOUNDATIONS.

The construction of the structure and the body is made of reinforced concrete and the foundations of the buildings are individual pad footings. All in accordance with the structural analysis and the drawings of the engineers.

2. ROOF. The roof is made of reinforced concrete slab and covered with asphaltic water, acoustic and thermo insulation also.

3. WALLS. Brick walls 20 cm and 10 cm thick in accordance with the highest standards. Internal surfaces are painted with emulsion paint. External surfaces are sprits on plaster.

4. KITCHEN WALLS. Surfaces between kitchen benches and wall cupboards have receive colored ceramic tiles. All other surfaces are emulsion painted on plaster.

5. BATHROOM AND TOILET WALLS. All surfaces have received colored ceramic tiles to 210 cm high from the finished floor level.

6. FLOOR FINISHES. 6.1. Bedrooms: Ceramic tiles. 6.2. Bathroom and toilets: Ceramic tiles. 6.3. Living, Dining Rooms: Ceramic tiles. 6.4. Verandas: Ceramic tiles. 6.5. Kitchen: Ceramic tiles. 6.6. Inside stairs: Marble / ceramic.

7. DOORS AND WINDOWS. 7.1. Entrance door is solid timber with frame of softwood timber. 7.2. All internal doors are flush doors with MDF and frame of softwood timber. 7.3. All handles are brass effect. 7.4. All windows and external doors are double glazed colored aluminum with panes.

8. BEDROOM CUPBOARDS. Internal partitions are of melamine. Externally MDF doors have been used.

9. KITCHEN BENCHES. 9.1. Internal partitions are melamine. 9.2. Externally MDF. 9.3. Top is made of vinyl cover. 9.4. Double bowl single-drainer acrylic sink has been used.

10. SANITARY FITTINGS. Sanitary fittings and units in accordance with the drawings. All sanitary units are of good quality and in accordance with British Standards: 1. Bathtub 2. Hand basin 3. WC 4. Bathroom mirror 5. Shower

11. ELECTRICAL INSTALLATION. Electrical installation has been done according to the drawings and approved by E.A.C. Provision for A/C has been installed in living room and every bedroom.

12. PLUMBING INSTALLATION. Plumbing and drainage installation has been done in accordance with the drawings. PVC pipes have been used for cold and hot water supply. Hot water pipes have been properly insulated. CPVC pipes have been used for drainage. A 30 gallon solar water heater has been installed.

13. PAINTING. 13.1. All internal walls are painted with emulsion paint. 13.2. All ceilings have been emulsion painted. 13.3. All timber surfaces have been painted white.

14. SEWAGE DISPOSAL. Septic tank and absorption pit have been constructed and made operative in accordance with the drawings. Connection with the central sewage system has now been carried out. 15. ADDITIONAL FEATURES. 15.1. Full Air Conditioning. 15.2. Installation of a fridge, and a washing machine. 15.3. Installation of a hob, oven and extractor fan. 15.4. Pressurized hot and cold water system. 15.5 Granite kitchen work top. 16. EXTERNAL: WORKS. 16.1. A fencing wall has been constructed. 16.2.
