Mind-Sound Technology (MST) is an internationally acclaimed intelligence-enhancingprogram developed by Dr. Baskaran Pillai, a scholar-mystic and global thought leader. MST

has already been implemented with over 5000 children and adults around the world, and

has demonstrated very positive results with higher academic scores, greater focus and

concentration, cooperation and participation, feelings of peace and happiness, and overallwell-being.

The premise of Mind-Sound Technology is that mind is dependent on language and that

language is basically sounds, which are the fundamental building blocks of intelligence. W

, says Meena Mulloy, an experienced MST teacher who trained the students.

Much earlier, American Professor Dr. Norman Cousins had coined the term Psycho-neuro-

immunology for his research on how thoughts and beliefs can translate into biologicalreality and impact ones health. Also, the impact of human speech on water droplets was

conclusively proved by Japanese researcher Dr. Masaru Emoto in his pioneering work

Messages from Water. He found that water crystals assumed beautiful or ugly shapesdepending on whether positive or negative words and thoughts were directed at them.

Though along similar lines, the MST study is unique because it works directly with sound

waves, rather than human speech. Most importantly, the study hypothesizes that if

psychosomatic illness exists, then psychosomatic wellness must also exist. W

Lawson, Co-Researcher, Sound for Hope, California, USA.

The MST study comes at an opportune time when millions of students across India aretaking examinations at various academic levels. While the hope of making learning stress-

free might sound appealing to the students, their parents would be the ones actuallyheaving a sigh of relief.
