When a situation atan unattended remotesite occurs, such as aprocess alarm or anunauthorized accessalarm, it is imperativethat the situation beautomatically reportedto the central stationwithout operator inter-vention.

Traditional PLCs nor-mally report only whenpolled by the MasterStation, which makesreal time remote datamanagement impossible.By simply configuringthe Modbus MasterBlock, “XMIT”, the TSXCompact functionallyassumes the role of RTUreporting the situation tothe Master Station inreal time.
