Throughout the Lower River Passage, from Fredericton to Saint John, local artists and artisans produce and market a wide range of unique objects of art. Pewter smiths and silversmiths; potters working in porcelain or in raku; painters of fine art and of folk art; weavers and workers in wood; jewelry makers and sculptors in stone — think of a medium; imagine a style; find it here. The Lower River Passage offers visitors the opportunity to experience New Brunswick craft and art through shops, galleries, markets and festivals. Gallery hop in Fredericton and Saint John; visit the artisan-rich village of Gagetown; drop in to one of the many studios open to guests; check out the booths and exhibits at local fairs and markets; or plan your river trip based on art and craft.
