Who is Prince Royce?
‘Prince Royce’ is Geoffrey Royce Rojas stage name. He was born on May 11th 1989.
He is an American singer and songwriter. His music genres are based around Bachata, Latin pop and R&B.
When he was 19 years old he met Andres Hidalgo who later became his manager. His manager then introduced Royce to Sergio George who signed him to his label straight after hearing 3 demos from Royce. This label was ‘Top Stop’ – He was with this label for 2 years.
During these two years Royce released two songs that reached to be no.1 in Billboard’s Tropical Charts and US Hot Latin Songs Chart.
In 2011 Prince Royce received 3 awards with Billboard Latin Music Awards.
In April 2013 Royce signed a record with Sony Music Entertainment. All together Prince Royce has released 4 albums. ‘Prince Royce’ , ‘#1’s’ , ‘Phase II’ and ‘Soy el Mismo’.
