New Virtuosi was established in 2009 with the purpose of nurturing a new
generation of young talented violinists. Activities are specifically intended
for the ages 10-22 and include:
• Public masterclasses are taking place in the UK throughout the year. The
students receive intensive tuition from internationally renowned violin
performers and pedagogues. Being open to the general public, the
masterclasses uncover the magic process of music making.
• International Summer Mastercourse is directed to aspiring young
violinists, providing the opportunity to enrich their professional and social
life through meeting and sharing musical experiences with peers from
around the world.
• Concert performances and special events are designed to offer invaluable
performance experience to the young musicians.
• Festival creates the unique environment of performance cooperation
between the young students and international music masters.
The New Virtuosi wishes to thank:
• Jiafeng Chen, Giordano Franchetti, Martyn Jackson, SoYeong Kim, Lyrit
Milgram, Luis Parés, Agata Policinska Malocco, Mari Poll, Jian Ren,
Alessandro Ruissi, Alexis White, for performing on a volunteer basis.
• Professors: Itzhak Rashkovsky, Jan Repko and Ani Schnarch, for preparing
students towards this concert.
