Afgestudeerd kunstenares met een passie voor pigmenten, kleur, textuur en stoffen. Ze werkt in een mixed media stijl met authentieke materialen als pigmenten, stoffen. De werken worden zorgvuldig opgebouwd in verschillende lagen, waardoor het werk prachtige details en diepte krijgt. Thema’s die voorbij komen zijn divers, van landschappen tot aan portretten en abstracte schilderijen.
Ze is geobsedeerd door de technieken van oude meesters als Rembrandt en Vermeer en wil deze technieken ook op een moderne manier toepassen in haar werk.Inspiratie is overal te vinden, in het licht, in de kleur van de bloemen, op reis en in foto-grafie, wat een hobby is van haar. Ze wil graag de essentie en het gevoel weergeven die het beeld bij haar oproept. Soms zijn dat verstilde beelden, en soms, zoals in de bloemenseries van haar hand, eerder expressionistisch. Maar altijd is het werk krachtig en atmosferisch te noemen.
Graduated artist with a passion for pigments, color, texture and fabrics. She works in a mixed media style with these authentic materials. The works are carefully assembled in different layers, giving the work beautiful details and depth. Themes in her work are di-verse, from landscapes to portraits and abstract paintings.
She is obsessed with the techniques of the old masters like Rembrandt, Vermeer and wants to apply these techniques in a modern way in her work.Inspiration can be found everywhere, in the light, in the colors of flowers, on her travels and in photography, which is also a hobby of her. She would like to show the essence and the feeling that raises the image. Sometimes the images are very serene, and sometimes, as in the flower series of her hand, they are rather expressionistic. But the work is always powerful and atmospheric.
