CORE RESPONSIBILITIES :

Welding & Mechanical:

Implementation of QC inspection procedure, ITP & documentation based on project quality and construction procedure.

Monitoring before, during and after welding, bending, cutting, grinding and other miscellaneous works at sites.

Technical discussion with client regarding different aspects of welding and NDT. Inspection of pipe stringing, trenching, lowering, back filling etc. Incoming material inspection. Inspection of welding joints & dimensional accuracy of fabricated materials.

Inspection of piping system wise and confirm it is according to isometric drawings. Welding inspection of various materials carbon Steel, Low Temperature Carbon Steel

(A333 Gr.6, API 5L Gr B, X65, X60,Inconel 825 Clad UNS N08825,ASTM A671 , A420 WPL6, A350 LF2CL.1), Stainless Steel (A 312 TP 316,316L, 321) and SDSS, Structural Steel (ASTM A 36, S275JR).

Conducting an inspection for hydro-testing/leakages along with the ck\leakages along with the client representative.

Inspection pre weld joint Set-Up, during welding and post weld joint visuals. Inspection during fabrication of piping spools, Pipe supports Welds for NDE. Evaluate & Witness Purging, Pigging, and Punch list. Monitor WPS, PQR, PWHT, NDT Inspection as per test plan versus specifications and

NDT:

Radiographic film review, interpretation and preparation of reports. Interpretation of piping & pipeline radiographs & monitor all NDT activities. Planning and scheduling coordinating for the daily NDT jobs. Interpretation of positive material identification for alloy steel materials. Handling repairs, which are identified from the radiographic interpretation. Evaluation of hardness Test results and preparation of report for these activities. Monitoring of Preheating, Welding and Weld Visual Inspection, PWHT / NDT / Hardness Test,

PMI Test, Ferrite test etc. and document verification. Work in progress stage inspections includes ensuring the quality of welding during fabrication shop

and erection at the site by NDT methods like RT, UT, PAUT, MPT and PT with applicable codes. Witnessing Mechanical testing ( Bend, Charpy V Notch Impact Test, Tensile test, Macro

SSC,SOHIC) Witnessing the hydro-testing and pneumatic testing of pipeline, Tank and equipment’s. Inspection of preheating and PWHT activities. Preparing NDE request and submission of reports. Preparation of pending NDE status monitoring and control of NDE.

Documentation: Preparation of welding procedure specifications Preparing method statements, quality plan, and inspection test plan for projects as per

project scope and requirements. Preparing Request for Inspection (RFI), for client inspectors. Incoming Material Inspection, Material Certificates review.
