June 3,2009 As a result of Report CS-08-24 - Status on the Outdoor Sport Facility Study and Improving Communication to User Groups, it was identified that in an effort to improve communication with the User Groups that their minutes be forwarded to the Community Service Committee and Council. NASC Treasurer's Report: Balance on hand $852.84. Audit pending. Ron to ask Ada Musgrave to conduct said audit.

Election of NASC Secretary: This position is still open. Ron asked all in attendance to consider stepping up and taking this position. Will be addressed again @ June meeting.

NASC Policies & Procedures Committee: Target date to have ready for September OCCNA meeting. NASC Annual Elections IAGM) will be in January. Looking into lowing number required for quorum from 10 to 8. Next meeting: Monday, June lSt.

Closing: of Harman and Children's: 1 or 2 pads may be closing @ Harmon. Unsure as to whether Children's will be closing aIso. Ice Sports is asking to enter into an agreement HOCKEY: (cont) with them for another pad to be built onto Ice Sports on the condition that the City does not build any more ice pads in Oshawa. Kathleen Blair has completed her last North Oshawa Friendship Tournament. Hockey sends a very special thank you to Kathleen for her years of dedication and hard work. Results of AGM/Elections: See Attached. Next Meeting: Tuesday, May 19th, 7 pm @ Valleyview

NEW BUSINESS: OCCNA Strategic Financial Meeting: Chairperson and Treasurer from Soccer, Sofiball and Hockey asked to attend. Wednesday, May f 2' 7 pm @ Valleyview. No NASC meetings in July and August. Special meetings will take place if needed. OCCNA Golf Tournament: Saturday, June 6th. Some parks may be looking into amalgamating for summer sports. Canada Day - Volunteers needed. Please go through your respective sport and have them forward your name to Theresa Doyle.
