All sons and daughters of God have a divine spark, which is their potential to become, or realize,

the Christ within. This concept is at the heart of the major religions, East and West. And it was part

of Jesus’ original teachings to his disciples, many of which were either obscured by Church Fathers

or destroyed.

How does one become a master and enter the heaven-world? A master is one who has attained self-

mastery by using the energy of free will, coupled with the law of their oneness with God, to

demonstrate mastery in time and space. Through mastery of the flow of energy in his own being as

well as his environment, he reaches a certain level of attainment, bringing his soul into congruency

with his own God-awareness. This mastery propels him into the reunion with God that is called the

ascension in the light, the ritual of the return that was demonstrated by Jesus. Hence the termascended master.

Ascended masters are part of The Great White Brotherhood, comprised of ascended masters,

Elohim and Archangels. (The term “white” refers to the brilliant aura of light that surrounds these

immortals.) They have retreats of light on the etheric plane.

Etheric Retreats of the Seven Chohans

In recent eras, few among mankind have entered the retreats and temples of the Great White

Brotherhood. The retreats, once physical on the lost continents of Lemuria and Atlantis, were

withdrawn to the realms of perfection, the etheric plane, reachable only by the most advanced

initiates.

With the dawning of the Aquarian age, however, lightbearers were given again opportunity to enter

these retreats just beyond physical awareness. By means of soul travel, you can visit these retreats

while you sleep as time and space are merely coordinates of infinity.

retreats and temples of the ascended masters The chohans of the rays are the closest of the ascended

masters to humanity. The offices of the chohans are divinely appointed by the cosmic hierarchy.

Each one has attained self-mastery and won the ascension by serving humanity on one or more of

the seven rays.

On January 1, 1986, Gautama Buddha announced that the seven chohans of the rays had been

granted approval by the Lords of Karma to open,

“Universities of the Spirit in each of their etheric retreats where they might welcome not dozens or

hundreds but thousands and tens of thousands of students who will diligently pursue the path of self-mastery on the seven rays systematically, mastering most especially the first and the seventh

rays…”

The Seven Chohans and Their Retreats:

El Morya, the chohan of the first ray, maintains his focus of the will of God on the etheric plane

concurrent with Darjeeling, India. He is the Chief of the Darjeeling Council, a council of ascended

masters of the Great White Brotherhood.

Lanto is the chohan of the second ray, the yellow ray of illumination. He serves in the retreat of the

Royal Teton, the main retreat of the Great White Brotherhood on the North American continent. He

is concerned with the illumination of the youth of the world.

Paul the Venetian is the chohan of the third ray of divine love, the pink flame. He is the hierarch at

the Château de Liberté in southern France. He sponsors the ascended master culture for this age and

works with all who desire to bring that culture forth on behalf of mankind.

Serapis Bey, chohan of the fourth ray, the great disciplinarian. Serapis maintains the focus of the

Ascension Temple at Luxor in Egypt. This is the place where candidates for the ascension are

received, and it is considered the most difficult of these retreats to enter. Serapis Bey is the teacher

of the path to the ascension.

Hilarion is the chohan of the fifth ray, the green ray of precipitation and truth. He was embodied as

the apostle Paul. He maintains the Temple of Truth on the etheric plane near Crete. He works with

atheists, agnostics, skeptics and others who have become disillusioned with life and with religion.

Lady Master Nada is the chohan of the sixth ray of ministration, service and peace. The flame of

the sixth ray is purple, the color of violets, flecked with metallic gold and ruby. Nada’s retreat is in

the Arabian Desert.

Saint Germain, the chohan of the seventh ray, holds a very important position in hierarchy in this

age. The seventh ray is freedom, mercy, transmutation and ritual. Saint Germain is also the hierarch

of the Aquarian age. The pulsations of the violet flame can be felt from his retreat over the House of

Rakoczy in Transylvania and from the Cave of Symbols in the United States.

Amoghasiddhi, one of the Five Dhyani Buddhas, his All-Accomplishing Wisdom, or Wisdom of Perfected Action, antidotes the poison of envy and jealousy.

Amora, with Heros, the Elohim of the third (pink) ray of God’s love.

Apollo, with Lumina, the Elohim of the yellow (second ray), guardians of the Cosmic Christ

consciousness.

Arcturus, with Victoria, the Elohim of the seventh ray (the seventh ray), of freedom, mercy,

forgiveness and alchemy.

Astrea, with Purity, the Elohim of the fourth ray (the white ray) of purity, perfection, hope and

wholeness.

Aurora, twin flame of Archangel Uriel, Archeiai of the sixth ray of ministration and service.

Chamuel, twin flame of Charity, on the third (pink) ray of divine love.

Charity, twin flame of Chamuel, Archeia on the third (pink) ray of divine love.

Christine, twin flame of Jopheil, Archeia on the second (yellow) ray of illumination.

Jophiel, twin flame of Christine, Archangel on the second (yellow) ray of illumination.

Kuan Yin, compassionate Saviouress, the Bodhisattva of Mercy, ensouls the God-qualities of

mercy, compassion and forgiveness; and serves on the Karmic Board as the representative of the

seventh ray (violet ray).

Kuthumi, World Teacher and Master Psychologist, serves with Jesus.

Lanello, The Ever-Present Guru, recently embodied on earth as the twentieth-century mystic and

messenger for the ascended masters, Mark L. Prophet.

Lanto, Chohan of the Second (yellow) Ray of Cosmic Christ illumination and the golden flame of

God-victory for the youth of the world.

Lumina, with Apollo, the Elohim of the yellow (second ray), guardians of the Cosmic Christ

consciousness.

Maha Chohan, epresents the Holy Spirit of the Father-Mother God, of Alpha and Omega, to the

evolutions of this planet and to the elemental kingdom, twin flame of Pallas Athena.

Maitreya, holds the office of Cosmic Christ and Planetary Buddha. His name means “loving

kindness.”

Manjushri, Boddhisattva of Wisdom, patron of arts and sciences, the master of eloquence, and the

principal guardian and patron of astrologers.

Mary, Mother of Jesus, Archeia of the Fifth (green) Ray, Archeia of the fifth ray and twin flame of Archangel Raphael.

ascended lady master Portia, the Goddess of Justice, known in his final embodiment as le Comte de

Saint Germain, the Wonderman of Europe. He brings the gift of the violet flame for the alchemical

transmutation of consciousness. One of his etheric retreats is the Cave of Symbols.

Sanat Kumara, known as the Ancient of Days, one of the seven holy Kumaras, serves on the third

ray bringing the gift of love and the gift of the threefold flame.

Serapis Bey, chohan of the fourth (white) ray, teacher of the path to the ascension.

Uriel, twin flame of Archeiai Aurora, archangel of the sixth ray of ministration and service.
