Making Flexible RF coax cables 1. Strip plastic off of one end 2. Separate braid of gold wire into 2 even sections to reveal center pin. 3. Pinch and twist gold wires back against plastic to create place to solder onto. 4. Use flux and drop a small solder ball onto gold wires 5. Strip plastic off center pin very carefully – do not cut middle metal wires and twist wires 6. Tin center pin 7. Put insulator onto center pin 8. Add flux paste to center pin and put gold tube over top of center pin 9. The hole in the gold piece faces up, place a very small amount of solder into hole and solder will wick inside to hold in place. 10. Remove flux. 11. Place gold pin inside gold connector and solder ball to gold connector. 12. Remove flux.

Making Flexible RF coax cables
