Ministry Focus DAVID AND LAURA CETON, WEST AFRICA

In the SIMAIR team’s efforts to provide safe, affordable transportation for missions and the Church in West Africa, SIMAIR has been researching the use of auto fuel in aviation. We recently purchased a six- place Cessna 210 with a special system enabling it to run on car fuel. This plane also uses more affordable American parts, which should make my job a lot easier! Thank God for this provision, and pray with us as folks in the U.S.A. prepare the plane as a tool God has provided to share His love overseas.

Hospital management has many facets, such as medical operations, accounting, and inventory management. The mobile app we developed last year is a good solution for the medical sphere. For accounting and inventory management, we’re modifying iDempiere, an Enterprise Resource Planning system. It can do anything most ERP systems can, but it’s complicated. We are working to simplify it so anyone can enter data in an easy manner. Pray we develop a solution for iDempiere that will be useful to many hospitals and clinics.

Ask God to lead Jay to the right people and guide him in their training.

Ministry Focus G AND S, MIDDLE EAST

Recently, we visited Bethlehem, the city where Jesus was born. Once a mostly Christian city, now less than 2% of the entire population in the area follow Jesus. We are working with the pastor of a church who wants his people to reach lost people from the majority population by sending teams to Germany and Greece where there is greater freedom. They go to assist churches there in outreach to Syrian refugees. Pray with us for the few remaining churches and pastors here, for boldness and encouragement as they face great opposition and oppression.
