Welcome to the 13th Annual Ashworth Farm & Ranch Bull sale. Another year has passed and the beef industry remains positive and profitable for producers across the country. When we look back to our first sale in Regina in 2003, it was the first year of BSE and to compare what the markets were then as compared to now, we can all be thankful for where we are now. The future continues to look bright for the beef industry; hopefully allowing producers to experience many profitable years ahead. For 2016, we feel we have assembled the strongest set of bulls to date with a few more numbers and a bit more genetic diversity, which includes, for the first time, a small number of half blood bulls. Our red bulls this year will be highlighted with the first Authority sons to be offered with one being a feature son out of the great Miss Rock 14X, the mother of Red Mountain; as well as feature sons from Red Mountain, Big Time, Currency, Integrity, and our newest red walking herdsire, Roar. The red segment will also feature some solid-made half bloods out of the performance and muscle Red Angus sire Justice for your evaluation. The black division is solid throughout with the usual sound-made, meaty Integrity sons as well as the first Currency, Milwaukee and Vision sons. The group of black sons from the KBR cows will be mostly Predator sons and grandsons, as that is what they were bred to when we purchased the herd. They will be typical Predator progeny with tons of thickness and hair. The two half blood Active Duty sons are both very good in their own right and await your appraisal. As in other years, all bulls 12 months of age and over will be semen tested. Any others will be scrotal measured and tested at a later date. All bulls are on a comprehensive herd health program and this year will also be double vaccinated with Fusogard for foot rot. Our bulls always sell fully guaranteed and all buyers can rest assured that they will always be looked after should a problem ever occur. We don’t take your business for granted and treat our customers the way we would want to be treated. We will once again be working with the competent and professional staff from Bouchard Livestock. Auctioneer will once again be Jerry Kanewischer, and ringmen Dennis Ericson, Ryan Dorran and Nate Marin. Representing Bohrson Marketing will be Scott Bohrson and Darryl Snider. Bouchard Livestock Ltd assumes no responsibility for the health status of any animal in the sale.ACCIDENTS - Although every precaution will be taken to protect the safety and comfort of buyers, neither the Sale Management, auctioneer, or Association assumes any responsibility in this matter and disclaims any liability legal or otherwise in the event of accident or loss of property.RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS - The above terms and conditions of the sale shall constitute a contract between the buyer and the seller and be equally binding to both. Resale of animals following purchase in this sale shall constitute a separate transaction and the rights and the terms and conditions of this sale do not cover obligations of the two parties connected thereto.BOUCHARD LIVESTOCK LTD IS AGENT ONLY - It is clearly understood that Bouchard Livestock Ltd acts only as agent between buyer and seller and is not in any way responsible for any failure by either party to live up to his or her obligations. Bouchard Livestock Ltd does not assume any financial obligations to collect or enforce collection of monies by either parties, and in exceptional case, any legal action will be between buyer and seller. Bouchard Livestock Ltd has no ownership of the facility and assumes no responsibility for the operation of said facility.
