Delivering Expert Practical Experience Covering
“BFC APAC 2017 is the best blockchain focussed conference I’ve ever been to”
Ray Campbell, Professor of Law, Peking University
Since 2015 I’ve been engaging with financial institutions from Singapore to London… New York to Tel Aviv… Hong Kong to Dubai… to understand the opportunities that financial services organisations see for distributed ledger technologies.
As an industry we’ve come a long way since 2015. Most financial institutions now understand the advantages and limitations of DLT and are conducting POC’s as well as running live projects in an effort to commercialise this technology.
Through an immersive mix of end user case studies, technical panel discussions, networking breaks and an interactive technology showcase hall, BFC APAC 2018 will offer attendees the chance to hear about the latest blockchain innovations from across the Asia Pacific:
• MAS will provide a vision for DLT in Singapore with an update on the campaigns that are at the forefront of blockchain innovation
• JPX will review how DLT is helping with two projects around KYC/AML and the post trade processing of listed securities
• The latest blockchain developments within post-trade will be outlined by Digital Asset
• Opportunities for blockchain within payments will be debated by J.P. Morgan, Ripple, Stellar and Yes Bank
• HSBC and CryptoBLK will join a panel to examine how blockchain can create value in trade finance
• Up-to-the-minute use cases within the insurance sector will be discussed by Manulife Asia, AIA and Metlife (Lumenlab)
My aim is to help you understand this fast-moving technology and navigate this period of disruption whilst giving you the tools and practical information to help your business succeed in this new era of financial services.
I hope that you can join us in Singapore in June to be a part of these discussions.
