Center Square Blossom Assembly:Center and position Template A blossoms in a circularposition onto 13-1/2" Fabric I square. Position TemplateB stems, tucking under each blossom. Applique in place(Fig. 1).Small-Square Block Assembly:Sew two 1-1/2" Fabric I squares to sides of one 1-1/2"Fabric G square. Sew two 1-1/2" x 3-1/2" Fabric I strips to top and bottom.Make 16 (Fig. 2).3-1/2" x 9-1/2" Fabric A strips to one 3-1/2" x 15-1/2"Fabric C strip. Repeat to make four pieced strips. Sew two strips to sides of quilt top. Sew two 3-1/2" Fabric C squares to sides of remaining pieced strips and attach to top and bottom.

Borders:Note: Quilt is assembledwith eight bordersaround center motif.Refer to Figure 3 for border placement.Border #1: Sew two 1-1/2" x 13-1/2" Fabric B strips to sides of center block. Sew two 1-1/2" x 15-1/2" Fabric B strips to top and bottom. Border #2: Sew two small-square blocks to sides of one 3-1/2" x 9-1/2" Fabric C strip. Repeat to make four strips.Sew two strips to sides of quilt top. Sew two 3-1/2" Fabric Csquares to remaining pieced strips. Attach these strips to topand bottom (Fig. 4).Border #3: Sew two 3-1/2" x 6-1/2" Fabric A strips sides ofone 3-1/2" x 9-1/2" Fabric E strip. Repeat to make two strips,and attach to sides of quilt top. Sew two 3-1/2" x 9-1/2"Fabric A strips to sides of one 3-1/2" x 9-1/2" Fabric E strip.Repeat to make two strips, and attach to top and bottom.Border #4: Sew two 1-1/2" x 27-1/2" Fabric F strips to sides of quilt top. Sew two 1-1/2" x 29-1/2" Fabric F strips to top and bottom.Border #5: Sew two 3-1/2" x 7-1/2" Fabric E strips to sides of one 3-1/2" x 9-1/2" FabricD strip. Sew two small-square blocks to sides of pieced strip. Repeat to make four stripsand sew two to sides of quilt top. Sew two 3-1/2" Fabric D squares to sides of remainingpieced strips and attach to top and bottom.Border #6: Sew two 3-1/2" x 9-1/2" Fabric A strips to one 3-1/2" x 15-1/2" Fabric Cstrip. Repeat to make four pieced strips. Sew two strips to sides of quilt top. Sew two 3-1/2" Fabric C squares to sides of remaining pieced strips and attach to top and bottom.Border #7: Sew two 1-1/2" x 41-1/2" Fabric H strips to sides of quilt top. Sew two 1-1/2" x 43-1/2" Fabric H strips to top and bottom.Border #8: Sew two 3" x 43-1/2" Fabric F strips to sides of quilt top. Sew two 3" x 48-1/2" Fabric F strips to top and bottom.Finishing: Layer, quilt and bind as desired.
