Aims of ANRRC
To promote continuous discovery of resources related to human, animals,
plants, microorganisms and non-biological materials in Asia.
To promote academic exchange of information and technologies.
To promote education and training of researchers.
To develop common operating practice of RRCs.
To standardize documents for material transfer and quality control processes.
To promote establishing common accreditation system.

Cross-training Program
A cross-training program of scientists was started in 2011 to improve quality of resource
management and to initiate collaborative researches between resource centers.
KNRRC, RIKEN-BRC and IMCAS are willing to support Asian young scientists for staying in
the institutes.
KNRRC supported Korean young scientists with travel expenses for visiting Asian countries

Jeju Island
Jeju is a picturesque volcanic island that was designated as ‘Biosphere
Reserve’, ‘World Heritage’ and ‘World Geological Park’ by UNESCO.
Scenic beaches, waterfalls, cliffs and caves lie in harmony. Its subtropical
climate and unique culture attract tourists from all over the world.
ShineVille Resort is located on the southeast side of Jeju Island
overlooking natural whinstone, beach walks and a deep sea breeze from
the Pyo-seon beach in Seogwipo.
