Geography, technology, Strategy - three words that aptly sums up the triad that cre-

ates the right supply chain for a firm. The 4th Asian Supply Chain Thought Leader-

ship Summit explored how these three paradigms can redefine our supply chains.

Around 180 senior supply chain leaders from all walks of the Indian supply chain

domain were in attendance.

The 4th Asian Supply Chain Thought Leadership Summit saw 36 thought leaders

from the Indian supply chain community and two experts –Dr. John Gattorna, Ex-

ecutive Chairman of Gattorna Alignment, a Sydney based specialist supply chain ad-

visory firm, and Paul W. Bradley, Chairman and CEO of Caprica International, Sin-

gapore. (Speakers & Agenda—On Page 3 & 4)

The event was promoted using a mix of conventional marketing mix and social

media.

ISCM created a dedicated website for the event – www.asctls.com, where ISCM

posted constant updates on the event.

These updates were shared on the LinkedIn pages of the institute, and all ISCM

professionals. An average of 2500 plus individual supply chain professionals read

these posts.

Direct Marketing to Supply Chain Thought Leaders through mails to the HR

and L & D Department.

The Media Partners also sent emails to their database of about 10,000. ISCM’s

event wing, SCMPro sent emails to about 5000 existing as well as potential con-

tacts from the industry.

The ISCM outreach touched close to 10,000 supply chain professionals from the

country.

The event was open only to the senior supply chain professionals.

A series of specific promotions were undertaken on LinkedIn for each panel and

speaker topic, generating additional interest in the event.

Conventional marketing included tele-calling by a team of two dedicated ISCM

staff, and supplemented by the event marketing team.

Post event, ISCM hosted the videos taken during the event on their YouTube

Channel.

India’s only Jury based Awards in SCM

The SCMPro 4th Logistics & Supply Chain Awards is India’s pioneering Jury moderated

award for supply chain and Logistics. The series of awards seeks to honor companies and indi-

viduals who are shaping the future of Logistics and supply chains in India. The SCMPro awards

are decided by a jury of eminent international academicians and experts, and reflects an un-biased

opinion on the capabilities of the nominees. SCMPro presented these awards

during the 4th Asian Supply Chain Thought Leadership Summit on 8th Decem-

ber 2018 at Mumbai at a glittering function at the Poolside of The Orchid Hotel,

Mumbai.

JDA was the presenting partner for the awards.

Five categories of awards were presented – Logistics Service Providers,

corporate category – celebrating the SCM function in institutions (Supply

Chain Users), Academics, Individuals and special awardees. The first four cate-

gories were based on the nominations received.
