What are the Regional Integration Centers?

Regional Integration Centers (CRIs) are offices created in several cities across the country to provide you with information and guidance so you can integrate more easily into your local community. Within these offices you are expected to have specialized advisers who can explain your rights and o bligations t o y ou a nd t he s ervices y ou h ave access t o i n R omania.

You can access the services provided by t he CRIs if you are:· A beneficiary of a form of international protection;· A foreign citizen from outside the EU and EEA with legal residence in Romania;

How can you use the services providedby the RICs and by their staff?

Access to the medical system: you will learn how you can get access to healthcare and how to get a family d octor.

What do the RICs provide me with?In each center, dedicated counselors with experience in immigration are waiting for you to answer your questions about community integration. With them you can discuss the situation you are in and what are the possible solutions to the problems that you encounter as a migrant in Romania. You will also receive the information you need to make the best choices for you.

�� The conditions under which you can benefit from physical assistance, medical assistance and legal assistance i f y ou a re i n d ifficulty.

�� : Access to social services and the social security system: you will find out how you can get access to the pension system a nd the national s ocial a ssistance s ystem.

��Participate in educational and socio-cultural activities: you can learn how to participate in events, c ultural v isits, r ecreational w orkshops.

Access to education: you will learn how to enroll to Romanian l anguage c ourses, how to o btain recognition of diplomas and attestations o f home country studies and qualifications. You w ill find out w hat you need t o do to e nroll y our c hildren i n k indergarten o r s chool.
