Subject Headings: on the left hand side of the results page you’ll see ‘Subject’. When articles are indexed they are assigned standardized words or phrases that best describe their topic or what is the article about. Several subject headings can be assigned to improve retrieval.By choosing a subject heading, you can narrow your search. You are now

searching within that specific subject heading.
