HotMeltTankControllersTHERMADOSE®hotmelttankcontrollersareselectedbydeterminingthetankcapacityrequired,meltrateandthepumpratenecessarytoprovidesufficientmaterialfortheprocess.Anotherfactorthatalsoinfluencesthedecisioniswhethertheapplicationisamanualprocessoranautomatedsystem.

Whenahotmelttankcontrolleriscoupledtoahandvalve,thetankcontrollerbecomespartofamanualsystem.Whenconnectedtoanautomatedvalveitcanbeanintegralpartofanautomatedproductionsystem.

Eachhotmelttankcontrollerincludesaheatedmelttankwitheasilyreplaceablecartridgeheaters.TanksarecoatedwithTeflon®.Thetankcontrollerisallelectricanddoesnotrequirecompressedair.Thewidemouthdesignoftheself-sealingtanklidwillaccommodatealargeselectionofsolidadhesiveforms.

Heatedhosesarebothelectricallyandmechanicallyattachedtotheunitviaeasy-accessconnectorsontherearpanelofthecontroller.
