A procedu re fo r identifying the dimen-s ions of qual i ty and us ing them to target the indus tr ial marketer'squal i ty improvements is discussed, and the resul ts of tes ting thismethodology are presented. The resul ts sugges t that a potent ial lyunique set of qual i ty factors can be use d to assess each vend orand that these factors vary across func t iona l area.
