SAWA Seminar
« SAWA seminar in favor of the actors of the
economic and social world »
-Morocco-
The principle of gender equity was established by the
Constitution of the 1st july 2011, in which the introduction
assures that « The Kingdom of Morocco is committed to fight
and to ban all discrimination toward anybody because of
gender ».
The article 19 of the Constitution stipulates that « The man and
woman benefit in equal parity of rights and freedom of civil
political economic social cultural and environmental character»
and that « The state works toward the realization of gender
equity among men and women».
The safety from discrimination and the promotion of equity gender among women and men
define one of the identified objectives by the Referentiel as being fundamental and having
priority for a new social Charter adopted by the le CESE in november 2011.
The discriminations against women tend to
reproduce and carry on the social disparity
and poverty cycle through the generations,
whereas the women equal right to access do
not constitute neither a threat of reduction
neither a constraint to the men right to
access.
Inspite the progress achieved during the previous six years, the ways of thinking, the behavorial
habits, and the feeling of impunity constitute heavy obstacles to the application and protection
of the women rights. The violation of the legal age of marriage and the jurisdictional acceptance
of minor marriages still too frequent are examples…
Association Echos
According to the Rapport Genre 2014, published by the Ministry of Economy and Finance, in
total, Morocco, indisputably, realized various notable progress in favor of gender parity, showing
clearly its willingless to give to and to reinforce the access of women to their rights. The
application of the gender analysis of the public politics, under the prism of human rights, to the
entire ministry departments, affirm the definitive engagement of the country to the service of
equality and to the reinforcement of the indebtability.
This choice is also confirmed by the actual
reform of the Organic Law on the Finance
Act, that fully gives the institutionalization
of the management, directed toward
performance under the framework of the
programmes open to a proximity
management and to a more pertinent
targeting of the public politics vis-à-vis the
differentiated needs of the population
components, giving sense and real and
substantial content to the objectives of
efficacy, transparency and equity that are in
the center of the stakes layer by our new
Constitution.
In the same sense, the
AssociationATTADAMOUNE Micro Finance
in Morocco puts in place the Project SAWA
« Supportive Action for Women of the Arabic
World », supported by the French Foreign
Ministry, in partnership with the French
Association Batik International, that has the
objectives of the reduction of the economic
disparity linked to the gender favoring the
socio-economic insertion of the woman in
urban and rural zones through the
development of an awareness and support
program of the stakeholders parties.
Following this, there is the seminar “ Socio-Economic Gender and Rights…Economic Growth
Lever » , that has the principal objective to raise awareness of the economic world actors
about gender culture and equality among woman and man, favoring the equal access to the
socio economic rights, in order to reinforce the women role in the economic life, to favor
decision making in the family sphere and to encourage women to search for more
independence.

project that is in a large program of destination of electronic payment and financial inclusion in
Morocco, supporting its self by new technologies and multi channels for the widening of the
acceptance and acceptability of the different means of electronic payment.
The objectives of the project are to put in place a solution for:
The dematerialization of the process of provision of funds to the clients of the

would allow the commercial strengths of the fields to reinforce their penetration in the
geographic sector, to comprehend with more pertinence the needs and the expectations from
the prospects and the clients and to reinforce the values of the services brought by
ATTADAMOUNE Micro Finance to its clients. The launch of the phase of steering of deployment
