1. Log in to the Learning Portal. Go to courses.td.org and login using your ATD credentials. If you are not already signed into td.org, you will be asked to sign in. If you do not have an account or do not remember your

password, follow the links below the sign in button for help.

2. Find your course on your home page. Click the “Launch Course” button to go to your course landing page.

2. This is your course landing page. Every program starts with a welcome page. This welcome page includes key details about your

program, including dates, location, and facilitator information. Please review all details carefully before your first day or session.

3. Pre-Work. Click to open.

The Pre-Work section includes pre-work assignments, attendance policies, technical requirements, and other key details necessary to start your program. Please review fully before the first day or session.

4. Course Materials. Click to open.

Course Materials include job aids, e-books, and other key content for your program. In addition, participant guides will be added here for online programs. Participants in face-to-face programs will receive printed participant guides on the first day of the program.

5. Post-Course Evaluation. Click to open.

All participants must complete a post-course evaluation to successfully complete the program and, if applicable, receive a certificate. Make sure you answer each question and click the “Submit Response” button at the end of the evaluation.

Remember: you must complete and submit your post-course evaluation to receive your certificate of completion.

Upon successfully completing and submitting your evaluation, you’ll see the following message:

6. Online Programs: Live Sessions & Session Recordings

For online programs, you will see two additional sections in your course landing page:

Start My Sessions includes the links to each of your live online sessions with your facilitator. Click the “Join” link to go directly into the session.

View Session Recordings includes links to each recorded session. Recordings will be

available 24 hours after the live session has ended.

7. Course Features: Discussion Boards.

Please introduce yourself on the discussion board and check back regularly for updates from your facilitator and colleagues. If you are enrolled in an online program, facilitators and producers may post intersession assignments on the discussion board.

8. Course Features: Resources. Resources include downloadable files from your facilitator, producer (if program is online), and ATD administrators. Some facilitators may post handouts here or articles, job aids, or other

reference items related to the course content.

9. Course Features: Communication Center

The Communication Center allows you to send messages to your facilitator and colleagues directly through the Learning Portal. These messages go directly to your email. Please keep in mind that any questions pertaining to the program should be posted to the discussion board so

that others may benefit.

10. To check your completion status and view your certificate, return to your Learning Portal home page.
