skills‛ not only for professional

Sharma, Principal, ATDC Gurgaon,
while addressing the Life &Soft-
skills workshop conducted by the
team of 25 Deloitte professionals
here. More than ‘150’ students of
ATDC Gurgaon, Rohini, Dilshad Garden centres attended the timely workshop.
She further said that to get a winning edge over competitors, people are left with no
choice but to add value to their hard skills with soft skills to realize one’s true
potential. ‚Keeping the need of the hour in mind,Apparel Training and Design
Centre (ATDC), India’s largest vocational training provider for the apparel
sector, organized this special workshop on ‚Interpersonal & Soft Skills‛ for the
students,‛ she said.
The objective of conducting this workshop was to develop and strengthen especially
the communication skills of the students.Deloitte professionals worked towards
providing guidance and direction to ATDC’s students for a successful career, by
leveraging their potential for better career prospects.The highlights of the workshop
were Time Management, Interpersonal skills, Resume preparation and Interview
skills under their ‘Counselor’ thread.
The students appeared enthused with the timely workshop. Pahuni Decosta, an
ATDC student said that the workshop was filled with fun. ‚Students learnt and
practiced to make their Curriculum Vitae (CV) and prepared them to face an
interview and interaction improvement. By the end of workshop session, we became
confident and enthusiastic to face future interviews and day-to-day interaction.Many
of my colleagues also received gifts from Deloitte during session for performing on
various exercises,‛ she said.

175 ATDCs including 65 ATDC
vocational institutes and over 135
ATDC-SMART Centres and Skill
Camps present in major apparel
clusters spread across 22 states
and 85 cities pan-India, recently
conducted a workshop on
‘Interpersonal & Soft Skills’ in
Gurgaon.

ATDC conducts 'Key Life and Soft Skills' workshop
Apparel Training and Design Centre (ATDC) conducted a 'Key Life and Soft Skills'
workshop on soft and interpersonal skills at its centre in Gurgaon. The workshop
was attended by more than 150 students of ATDC centres in Gurgaon, Rohini and
Dilshad Garden, which aimed to provide soft and life skills, for professional careers
as well as personal advancement.
The objective of conducting this workshop was to develop and strengthen, especially
the communication skills of the students, while highlights of the workshop were
time management, interpersonal skills and interview skills.
The workshop which was conducted by 25 Deloitte professionals, worked towards
providing guidance and direction to ATDC's students for a successful career, by
